Let's wait until the scouting report on him is out.

At this point it's Ja to lose. The only way he could lose it is that Zion is playing well and the Pelicans end up getting the final playoff spot. Fair or not, Zion would get all the credits for carrying the team.

These are all tight games too. Those two, mainly Ja, are literally putting this team on their back.
There’s only been like one game that hasn’t been close in the 4th and Ja didn’t play, so these are cheap, empty stats like a lot of guys get.

Last night was not Trae Young or Kevin Huerter's best moments to say the least. But the two rookie wings showed up and ended with decent games. Fernando was out with a thigh bruise he suffered in the Wizards game.

Reddish:
18 PTS, 6 TRB, 1 STL, 1 AST, 1 BLK, 2 TO, 43.8 FG%, 36.4 3P%
Hunter
15 PTS, 6 TRB, 0 STL, 4 AST, 0 BLK, 0 TO, 46.2, FG%, 37.5 3P%

The Hawks shot 25.5% from three and we can't blame all this on the Rookies. I am starting to like the Reddish pick a lot. If for nothing else a future 3D player.

Ja finishing with a +42 tonight in plus/minus. Too bad Memphis will likely be down JJJ and potential some other players when he faces off against Zion in a couple days.

Undrafted defensive anchor Lu Dort.

So Lu Dort seems like OKCs best young wing prospect. Was a little surprised he was undrafted but if he can shoot at all might be a real steal.

Yeah. We will see if they suspend him or not but he came like 10ft off the bench though it was behind the basket and not really on the court.

It does not matter. Shooters shoot. That is what Reddish is doing now. He is shooting .403 from three for this months 13 games, taking 4.75 a game, and that includes wins and losses. If you want to discount all stats that occur in losses, that would be over half the stats for every player on a team under .500. That is a pretty silly requirement from where I am sitting.

The Hawks lost that Raptors game by 16. Cam's plus/minus was -9.

Well, they are facing extremely relaxed defenses and deep bench guys at that point.
Hunter had 9 of his after the game was out of reach and Reddish scored 14 starting with 7 minutes left, down 28 or so.

You are using one game as your argument. Reddish has shown improved three point shooting every month. Like I said, I am starting to like the Reddish pick as at least a 3D player.

Hunter all but disappeared in the 2nd half. This is one of the things I question about our young coach is his inability to call plays for the hot hand. Which was DeAndre in the 1st half. He has pick and rolls all day for Collins and the bigs; but except for the occasional play after a timeout, no called plays for our wings.

The game is not over until there is a 30 point lead with under 5-6 minutes left. Did you not read about the Timberwolves meltdown with just 2:49 left and a 17 point lead?

is he really a wing tho? more of a combo guard than anything

but yea, surprised this dude went undrafted, he's a bully, super strong, good athlete...there were some games were he was an absolute menace defensively...when he really wanted it he was the best guard defender in college last year
