Indy made out pretty darn good with the Paul George trade.

This is goes to everything this season. Just about every aspect sucked about this Bulls season.
I just fear that Zach will just go through the motions the rest of the way.
Hopefully this pisses him off and he goes crazy the rest of the season. Then let him lead the bulls to a solid record next season to secure an al star spot

Not sure about Adebayo and Sabonis. They’re good players, but All Stars? And Lowry missed too many games to make the selection. But whatever.

East team looks so boring on paper for me personally.

Zach should have made the team. Booker also should have made the team. Those two seemed to be attached at the hip.

Bam has been fantastic and significantly better than Zach. Heck he has more assists per game than Zach.
Idk how Miami does this, but must be great being a fan of that franchise.

Maybe Zach makes it if someone gets hurt? The record is the only reason he didn’t, he definitely deserves it. Would of been cool to see rose too and even Carter , they should just add them as an extra like they did with Dirk/Wade last year.

-adebayo is not a big scorer, but he's an all-around stud who has played in every game. he's an easy choice
-sabonis is almost as good as his legendary dad was in his post-prime early nba years
-lowry...well, solid all-around player leading one of the best teams in the conference. he's missed a good amount of games, but he's also averaging 37 mpg. i think bledsoe has played a bit better...and played in a few more games...and for the best team in the league...but he only averages 26 min a game
the problem is with the selection process itself, which restricts selections to guards and forwards when it should be PG/wing/big. because of that, the east ended up with 4 PGs and 1 SG (middleton). as such, i'm not sure lowry has been good enough to justify a 4th PG. maybe zach would have gotten a wing slot if they did it my way

If we are putting big time scorers from losing teams in the ASG, then Beal > Lavine, at least for me. I think Booker has added to his game which has made him a better player this year (and should have been selected over Ingram and RW), I can't really say the same for Lavine. He's been pretty much the same player as last year. Booker's efficiency has skyrocketed this year.

Beal's advanced stats are pretty bad. He's literally dead last in the league in DBPM/DRPM. He might be the worst defensive player in the league, worse than Trae. I give Zach a slight nod over Beal for having slightly better advanced stats on a slightly better team.
They're also 4-3 without him, and 11-28 with him. They beat Miami, Denver, and Boston with Beal out, so not like those wins were against poor teams. Washington might legitimately be better without Beal.

There also seems to be a pretty big "team exceeding expectations" factor when considering allstars. MIA/TOR doing much better than expected, so they were deemed worthy of a 2nd allstar besides Butler/Siakim.

I agree with the defense part of the equation, but Beal's advanced stats for offense are more than slightly better. Beal's OBPM is twice the amount of Lavine's. In any case, they are both in the same neighborhood but would you take Beal over Lavine to play for the bulls? I would.

Re: Around The NBA: 2019-20 Season #2
I don't have major issues with the selections but I would have Booker over Russ. Houston is no where good enough to be gifted two AS selections. Its one thing if they were 40-10 and competing for the top spot out west, there are currently 6th and 1 game ahead of the 7 spot.
Indy deserves someone to represent them out East and Brogdon has missed too many games over other guards out east. I understand Sabonis getting it. If Zach is pissed, it should be directed toward his FO and coach for not getting this team where it needs to be.

Booker and LaVine continue to get no respect. Zach gets in if his teammates were not playing like **** and/or injured. Not sure about Booker in Phoenix since I don't keep up with him.

Suns are playing pretty well lately they have a good team. Ayton is averaging 17.9 points (53% shooting), 11.9 rebounds & 1.4 blocks.

Ingram got in and his team is not good. All-star is joke. Fans should not get to decide starters for one thing.
