Even when he misses the shot, teams are defending him tight at the 3. The spacing he provides is crucial. You aren't going to get a better 3 and D player for him. I think he'll play well in the playoffs, especially on D.

We get murdered by athletic wings with some size. Green is our only defender that matches up with those guys... Kuz isn't a great perimeter defender yet... So we'd need to replace Green with another 3 and D guy, between 6-6 and 6-10... But then we'd still have only one guy like that.

Your first sentence seems to prove my thesis.... He's been all rep no reality this season on the defensive side in the games I've been watching. Like I've been saying... I haven't followed him much previously so I can only go on this season but he's been truly engaged in defense in a few games and even then for short stretches. Not to say that he can't "turn it on" during the playoffs but he hasn't been bringing much on that end and that is the end he's supposed to be the difference maker on.

Offensively the 3 point percentage seems to be the focus of so many these days and Green is the poster child of why it's such an overrated stat.

I'm not saying he sucks or is someone we need to trade but if it were me and I needed some salary to trade out to get a true, diverse difference maker he'd be out of here.
