pretty crazy that chi is without markkanen, carter, porter and dunn. 4 of their starters.

Glad we cleaned up the defense in the 4th. Really makes this one feel better. The middle quarters were tough to watch.

Kyrie is just incredible man. Can't even comment on anyone else tonight. He was on another level AND he moved the ball beautifully. He dove for the ball at least twice, grabbed rebounds in traffic, got a couple steals. Just an amazing performance.

I think it was more that when Kyrie checked back in 4th quarter, and started killing them, Bulls got deflated and lost the will to come back.

Apparently Kyrie just posted the 2nd most efficient 50+ point game in NBA history behind Wilt.

Kyries a God. Having the best season his career so far, despite the injuries.

Jesus Christ, I just returned from attending a funeral and didn’t expect to come back to Kyrie dropping an entire casket on the Bulls.

54/5/5 on 19/23 FGs. Wow.

I'm chaperoning for my daughter's sleepover, so I missed the game. When I saw the box score, I regretted missing the game. However, by the comments I'm reading, I'm not missing as much as it might seem???

As others have stated, we don't obliterate injury-riddled teams, like a playoff squad should. We play up or down to the level of our competition. this one might have gotten nervy for a while, but I'm glad we put some distance between ourselves and them late in the game.

The YouTube recaps won't show how our defense kept the Bulls in the game, but I'm still going to watch it, just to see the Kyrie show.

Ew. I'm more bear-ish on Zach than most, but I would hope that our desires for Caris are higher than this.

Well, he's gonna have to figure it out there, or drop completely out of the rotation. He craters the 1st unit +/- when he starts, he's not allowed back there until he proves himself. I would seriously much rather start Timothe then him. TLC's skillset and style of play fit our needs.

To thrive in the NBA, you either need to be a stud, or you need to master the skills the complement studs. Levert was tantalizingly close to making the star leap. However, he is closer to 26 then 25, closer to a finished product than a prospect. And since it seems he's unable or unwilling to add complementary skills to his game, his floor is really low. Like, buyout candidate low.

To contrast, you see a guy like Spencer mold his greatness to fit his team's needs. When he arrived, his calling card was a high assist-to-turnover ratio. Then he became a poor man's Harden, and established his reputation as an elite scorer. Now, he is stepping up to the challenge of expanding his off-ball movement, defensive effort and long range catch-and-shoot ability. This is a conscious effort to make himself more complementary alongside Kyrie for long stretches, and it's really helping us.

Adaptability is truly a rare quality, and you are seeing the adverse effect of the opposite in CLV.

LeVert has been awful but he's been great off the bench for us for his entire career. He's always played next to dominant ball handlers like D Lo or Dinwiddie. Has nothing to do with coming off the bench or adapting. He's just not making anything. He went 1 for 5 from the line. He's missing layups, open 3s, etc.

We've seen him hit these cold spells before. Not sure it's been this bad but it's clear he struggles with confidence and consistency. The team thought he was ready to make a leap and he hasn't shown it yet.

We lose this game without Kyrie tonight imo. That’s all.

I got a kick out of one play in the 4th quarter where Allen had a huge block to kickstart a fast break that Kyrie finished with an And-1 and the first thing he did was to hype up Allen for that block.

That sequence to end the first half was pretty ridiculous.

YOOOOO KYRIE **** !!!!! what a crazy performance. I don't think I've ever seen someone drop 50 and make almost all his shots WOW ! He's doing it for Kobe. One of the better games I've ever seen from one guy. Kenny should of left him in so he can drop 60 screw that , this was a all time great performance. I wish I was at that game.

It's clear that we need to move some pieces and get better players that compliment Kyrie. We need A1 defenders next to him and soon KD, it's inevitable. I believe in Levert, I truly think his shots will start falling.

At this point, we'll be lucky if LeVert can just be a consistent player at this point. Dude is a non factor right now.

LeVert had a bad game. He played well in the last game I’m not gonna trip over it too much.

A small thing I've noticed. The last two games at the end or when he's about to check out of the game for good, Kyrie goes over and hugs Kenny.

Kenny was with Kyrie last Sunday when the news broke (Kenny confirmed it in a presser after the Knicks game) and spent time with him before he left the arena. Whatever happened, it seems that they're a bit closer for it.

True. I think the issue is that we are expecting to see Caris be the guy we saw in the playoffs. It's just not happening for some reason.

The team now is totally different than last year's squad. There's not as much ball movement now.
