I'm not even going to feign madness that Zion is in rising stars over Duncan Robinson. Obviously 3 games of stellar play is not > a season of near all time shooting display for a contender, but you gotta sell highlights and tickets.

This the new thing now? Every agent has to come out with a statement when their client's don't make an all star or rising stars team?
The Raptors are never losing again it seems.

I keep saying we need to get LMA and get him to work on Dame. Dame needs hope and we can give it to him - we just need a way of leveraging him away from the super max prison he’s setting him self up for.

Is Lillard the type of guy who can take us all the way? Doesn't play one side of the floor. Neither does Beal. Imagine how much better we'd be if Dragic was a defender. Exponentially.
In order to hang banners, you have to go all in on the guys who can play both sides. It's the reason why Giannis is THE guy to target. Davis is another.

Giannis maybe, if we're going for guys who could take us all the way. And Curry is mostly a one sided player and will get u a chip, KD is a mediocre defender and will get u a chip; Bron a mediocre defender, Beard will solely give u post defense and on the right team, could take you to get a chip
If I can't get access to the small number of guys that could get a chip, I'm taking Dame over Biid/AD

I would take Dame over AD as well, if Biid is healthy for the next 3-5 szns I would take him.
His contract is pretty gross tho and he is almost 30

Lebron looks more and more like 14-16 Wade. Stll can be great, but on most nights doesn't have it. His floor is much higher though

I don't like the Curry argument so much, all time, when you look at the construction of that team and their unique shared talents. KD then joined that team, though I'd prime KD to lead my team without a second thought over Curry, or Harden.
Lebron won 3 chips being dominant on both ends. He fits the bill, maybe not as much now, but the argument in general.
When you narrow it down to the teams that are going to truly compete for a chip this season, what player is leading them? And what's he going to be able to do on both ends of the floor?

Bron was a mediocre defender in '16, and Steph curry undoubtedly led his team to a chip in 15', and they both could do it again. And KD, same. Contenders this yr are Clips, Lakers, Bucks-- mostly being because of construction of team and unique shared talents-- and again, Bron

It hurts me to say this because Damian Lillard is one of my favorite players and I really want him in Miami, but we shouldn't touch his contract, it's a very bad contract. If I have to bet, Anthony Davis will stay next season with the Lakers in a two-year contract with a player option. It makes sense to Anthony, and LeBron will use it to negotiate his next contract. After that, Davis leaves the Lakers. 2021 will be special.

Disagree on pretty much everything.
How about this. Take Kawhi off the Clippers, Bron or Davis off the Lakers and Giannis off the Bucks. Replace those guys with Lillard. They winning a chip?

Dame's not as good as Bron, Giannas or Leonard and he's not leading any team to a chip- I've said as much. Would I like the Lakers chances as much or more with Dame instead of AD? Yea', pretty much.
You disagree with all of it, but where am I wrong?

Lakers offense would have been insane with Dame instead of AD
