Not that we have any chance to get that, but as far as I remember they have the GSW 2nd rounder this year. Willy+MKG+CHA 2022 2nd for Lee+GSW 2020 2nd?

Gsw 2nd rounder is the biggest target but it will be difficult to get.

They do have an Australian in their squad as well

I honestly never thought Capela was that good.

Like Zeller with longer arms and a lead guard who could actually throw lobs. Dude is crazy soft, his defense is fake news, and if he didn't get to ride MVP coattails he'd never have gotten paid like he did.

Agreed. Before watching Capela, I thought he was pretty solid. Then, I watched him get outmatched by shorter dudes time and time again. I'm not sure he is much of an upgrade over Zeller.

It makes no sense for any team. Drummond is a bit too old for the rebuild here (and he would command a major contract most likely), knicks have a young C they can build on, Celtics dont have matching salaries without giving up a solid player.
And most expect Drummond to renounce to his option during the summer.

For Charlotte it makes absolute non sense to give up assets other than expirings at worst, knowing there is a high chance Drummond select the best offer during next free agency. And i pass on his 'competitiveness' (how could he be a good fit).

wish this team would target young guys being underutilized by their teams, such at Malik Beasley in Den and Derrick White in San Antone

But if we weren’t wanting better odds at a top pick and you swapped Bridges with PJ, I wouldn’t immediately hang up the phone.

But in the end I want us to be competitive, but not THAT competitive.

I'm hoping most these rumors are just us being inquisitive and not serious. Maybe just a way to gauge the value of our own assets. The smartest thing this team can do is try to extract max value from our expirings. If someone will offer anything for MKG, Marvin, or Biz, we have to take it. There is absolutely no point in adding Drummond at the present moment and I'd become a fan of another team if we actually gave up an asset for him.

Yes....add assets, don't use them for a guy like Drummond

If we go that crazy route, then it becomes obvious that MJ is the problem, as this will be a completely different front office and coaching staff from the last rebuild that the team tried to accelerate to fast. MJ is the only carry over from that time
