Yes I am A fan of Evan Turner. Followed him in college and in Philly and Boston. I believe in Philly Collins played him in the wrong position and did not help his career Turner was a tall pt guard not a small forward.

It's true he was never a great shooter but a good passer and rebounder. He is now older and his better days probably behind him but I cannot get over the hate he has endured especially in Atlanta where he never had much chance to play.

He has spent a lot of time injured, so he hasn't helped on the fllor, also trading fan favorite Baze for him who loved the Hawks and the City was a fail.
He was supposed to be a vet leader helping the young guys on the court and in the locker room - he hasn't. He was apparently the cause of some discourse in the locker room. Don't need that around a young team.

With the Woj tweet, how would you guys feel about something like this?

ATL in: Capela
ATL out: Len, Parker, 2020 BKN 1st, 2022 OKC 1st

HOU in: Len, Covington
HOU out: Capela

MIN in: Parker, 2020 BKN 1st, 2022 OKC 1st
MIN out: Covington

I'm not sure if that is enough for MIN but maybe the Rockets toss in their 1st if needed. MIN technically gets two 1sts and a young player even if the OKC 1st is likely two 2nds.

This works for me. Len and Parker aren't fillers at all like Evan Turner. It's gonna cost HOU to get them honestly.

If you switched it to Evan Turner, there are more options that could come into play but it will make the deal much tougher to do.

Which is why I would remove the OKC 2022 1st.
Len and Parker are serviceable players so there is some added value there vs if it's Turner.

I just don't see Schlenk trading Hunter so soon after trading up to get him and giving up what most determine was a lot. They value him highly, he won't be moved unless it's part of a deal for a Superstar player.
Gordon's inability to stay healthy is also another issue.

No. Got nothing to do with Gordon or the Brooklyn pick. Just not moving Hunter or Reddish for anything less than a superstar.

Not really interested in moving any of the young core guys unless it just makes too much sense for me.

Heh, we tend to keep the good stuff in-house. :)

Kidding, reality is we're expecting some stuff to happen just based off who's no longer in our rotation(s). Parker,/Turner will be gone, just waiting to see the details.

Crabbe was on that same boat but he's been shipped out. See what I did there? I'm here all week, tip your waitresses.

Nothing to add besides Hawks looking for a Center rumor.

Hawks can't afford anymore injuries.

In order from who I want most in a trade:
1. Myles Turner
2. Steven Adams
3. Clint Capela

None at the expense of Collins or any of our young guns. These are my demands. For each day this doesn’t happen I shall cut off one finger. Your move, Schlenk.

I doubt Steven Adams gets traded as long as OKC holds a playoff spot. I don't really care to go into next season with him expiring anyway.

Myles and Clint make the most sense to me and have friendly contracts.

He's practicing and staying in shape.

Hey....your boy ET is active tonight. Hawks are depleted by injuries to Reddish, Hunter and Bembry. Hopefully a trade preview.

Heyul nawl.

Maybe for the OKC pick we own, which will likely end up 2 2nds.

We're looking for a starting C, not a project.
No. I don't think they trade him buy I'd think he'd garner a lottery pick. His offense is raw but he has like the 3rd best defensive rate for a center. I could see him having a Mutumbo type career if he can stay healthy.
