100 yard rusher, 100 yard receiver, no let's give MVP to the QB with 2 picks.

Yeah, if MVP didn't underthrow him on the overturned catch and behind him on the 2nd pick, he has 11 catches for about 140 yards.

Re: Super Bowl 54
Remember when Bears could have drafted Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes?
Remember when most of us laughed as they traded up for a qb who only played a handful of games?
Pepperidge Farms remembers?

We beat the Chiefs without Mahommes, he’s worth 15-20 points for that team....though any of the 3 could have won it, jumping on that fumble under a 300lber showed me a lot of grit

We all know any MVP award is going to the QB every damn time. The award is a joke at this point

Jimmy G is going to have that overthrow of Sanders in his thoughts until he dies.

Well in their defense they trade up because they didnt want to risk being "stuck" with Watson or MahomesProfound23 wrote:Remember when Bears could have drafted Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes?

Re: Super Bowl 54
Last 3 teams that beat us in the NFC title game have gone on to soul-crushing Super Bowl losses.
Neat.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Super Bowl 54
I was definitely rooting for the Chiefs in this one. I do feel bad some fans out here. The "real" 49er fans. The difficult part about sports in the Bay Area is that there are so many transplants that the natives get lumped in with the fair weather fans (similar to the Warriors). There are knowledgeable fans that are relatively respectful just like any other fanbase.
On the other hand I don't really care because I hate the 49ers.

Re: Super Bowl 54
I'm happy for Andy Reid and KC Chiefs fans, if there was another team that I had to pick other than the Packers to win it was probably them. It's also nice to see the 49ers blow it.

The one consolation for him is that even if he hits Sanders for a TD on that pass, the Chiefs get the ball back only down by 3 with about a minute and a half left and with all 3 of their timeouts. I'd have been willing to bet a pretty insane amount of money that at a minimum, the Chiefs get into FG range and send the game into overtime. Leave it to Mr 28-3 to abandon what got him there and start throwing bombs with Jimmy G in that situation. I am starting to think that Mike McCarthy might actually be Kyle Shananhan's real father lmao.

No, he's Bizarro McCarthy because he throws when he should run instead.
