Maybe this is the last game Isaiah Thomas starts? After the Trade Deadline, there will be no point in showcasing him.

7:00 PM - the 1st post is right, but the thread title is wrong for those on Eastern time.

So, GSW in full tank mode, and 10th place in the East Wiz kindasorta thinking they can make a run for the playoffs? This is actually a trap game for le Wizerable. To quote Weezer, Say it ain't so.

True - Mondays are almost sure things for the Wizards. If I were a sports betting man, I'd be all over this game.

It'll be interesting to see how they get minutes for Wagner - Do they reduce Mahinmi's minutes, or do they go more with a 2 bigs lineup? Seems like Bryant's offense is too good to reduce his minutes, and Mahinmi's playing good defense. Otoh, Wagner picks up fouls so quickly, it might not be an issue.

Interestingly, I don't think the return of Wagner or Hachimura help all that much. Hachimura is just going to take minutes from Bonga, which isn't an improvement. And Wagner will take minutes from Mahinmi, which also may not be much of an improvement.

Now, it definitely WILL be an improvement if Brooks revamps the lineup so that Hachimura ultimately takes his minutes from Isaiah Thomas. But that probably won't happen. It's like Sato/Rivers all over again. No amount of game data or logical reasoning can get Brooks to change his mind. We're going to need Isaiah to get hurt or traded for Brooks to change his pattern.

I like these uniforms they have tonight. Really all the various uniforms this year are all pretty sweet... I really love what they've done with their merch, look and branding of late... So far removed from that terrible teal blue of the Arenas era.
