The great news is at least we have a legit rumor to kick around for awhile. :D

People seem to prefer Capela to Drummond, by quite a bit.
Salary is much better and cost of acquisition better if it's true that HOU is acting kind of oddly (and if they're not, we presumably don't pursue it).
In any event it's also much better than talking about Steven Adams.

If the rumor is Capela then you have to assume Hayward is going right? Cannot be any of the beach because no one on there beside smart makes money.

Rumor season! Excited to see if Abby Chin's gonna interview one of the RealGM posters again.

Yea, sounds like Capela has got a foot problem right now and that is not ideal. That kills his value, along with the fact their owner is cheap. This could mean we get away with trading Kanter instead of Theis? Maybe?

As people have mention 1,000 times it probably be one of Kanter or Theis/Langford/Poirier and a non Memphis 1st

Hypothetically, if the Celtics made a 3 for 1 Capela deal, it would open up two roster spots for potential buyout candidates.

Capela only makes 14 million a season. Hayward is 32 million.

Smart alone could get it done.

Or Theis, Langford and Grant Williams. Add a pick.

I would prefer to keep Robert Williams over Grant Williams.

Theis, Langford, TimeLord and our pick is my guess.

Exactly. They want to get rid of the non shooting traditional big to fit the style of play they have now with Westbrook

Four good assets is more like an offer for Myles Turner, not Capela.

Who r the good assets? just to be clear. Poirer sucks, theis is serviceable and has played well but he is not part of the future like Capela could be, Langford unfortunately is caught in a log jam here and timelord hasn’t been able to stay healthy although he’s shown flashes except his ceiling ? Capela.

nor do I think it takes all 4.

If you trade Smart, you've effectively castrated the team.

He "should" be back by the All-Star break.

No not at all. You add Capela to Hayward, kemba, smart, Tatum brown, you only need $10 million in out going salary
