Pretty depressing game tonight.

The effort was lacking until too late.

Rotations were awful.

We did nothing to defend the three.

This seems to happen a lot. At least to bad teams. You finally get almost completely healthy and you relax. Not sure what the rush was to start Rui, especially if he was on a minutes restriction. That can mess with the chemistry some, but bad loss. A tank loss right before the trade deadline. But they better not f-ck around and add some veteran to try to get the eight spot, to get swept by Milwaukee.

Embarrassing effort, nobody on the Wizards can stay in front of anybody.

It's just one foul after another inside, giving up wide open shots by going under picks outside and just doing a piss poor job sticking with and closing out on shooters.

Wizards getting punked by an 11 win Warriors squad, just pitiful.

Wizards keep reaching new lows for defensive futility. That was hard to watch. Giving up only 3s and drives to the basket!

No such thing as a bad loss with this team with Brooks coaching, IT getting too many minutes, a bunch of bad defenders and Beal trying to do too much. They got out hustled and outplayed tonight.

They will lose badly against Dallas on Friday with this kind of effort with or without Luka.

Didn't watch game, see the comments about defense, but looking at the stats pretty hard to win when your starting back court give you a combined 9 point, 5 assists, and a rebound in 36 minutes of play while posting a combined -26 +/-.

Rui wasn't awful in his first game back stat wise posting 11 and 8 with and only a -4. Beal was spectacular and the only starter who posted a positive +/-. Bertans played great too. Thomas Bryant and Mo were efficient combining for 19 on only 9 shoots and limited and with Mo posting a positive +4 and Bryant only -1.

As to what Nate said the other day, hopefully this is the last week we see Thomas in that active role that he has. Just no reason he should ever play more minutes than Ish. In fact Ish should be playing quite a bit more than him. Hopefully depending on deadline deals moving forward we see the following rotation:

Ish/Payton/Thomas
Beal/Brown Jr.
Brown Jr./Bonga
Rui/Mo/Admiral
Mahinmi/Bryant/AP

If Wall returns, makes it even better. Any suitors that are desperate for someone like Thomas? Ian has seemed like he may be able to net us something, though it may be hard given his contract.

Agreeing with the previous posts - very hard to overcome bad games by Payton, Thomas and Hachimura as starters backed up by bad games from Brown and Bonga.

Defensively - I thought Mahinmi should have been allowed to use all 6 of his fouls.

I thought Rui had a pretty good game for someone who hasn't played in six weeks.

Agreed in bold. But still not good.
