Lee/Crowder doesn't move the needle for us but it might be an interesting get if we think we can keep them around for another year or so for leadership and depth purposes. I'd do it depending on the pick(s). But more than likely, they get better offers in than we would be willing to give in the offseason.

We have to trade hard on our seconds (which will probably be treated in terms of value almost like really late firsts), due to us having so many firsts in upcoming years.

What does “trade hard” mean?

Try to include them, as if they were the needle movers in trades where we can get young prospects ...

I'm personally glad Ro Co is off the board. I didn't like him for our timeline.

It has driven me crazy how Wolves fans thought Covington was going to get this outlandish return similar to Paul George. Glad that debate is over.

And he seems like one of those guys who'll be just good enough to get overpaid around the same time SGA is due an extension.

Nuggets with a steal in landing KBD
The Wolves are really dumb, he’s a better player than RoCo, Okogie and Culver

You've been hyping him since he was drafted. He's 24 and the fourth worst small forward based on RPM and a net rating of -11.6.

Houston still with 12 millions to land someone. Morey is so desperate right now. A bit unlucky that with all the players we could move, no one would fit (salary wise or kind of player) in one of the few teams that are willing to give up assets.

If Morey can find a decent center, Houston could end up being a little bette this year after their moves. The Stepien rule is probably the only thing keeping him from burning every asset they have.

They will only use about $9 of it. They aren't paying the tax. If they use the whole $9 they would probably move Chandler, Thabo & Heartenstine as well.

Agree. I don't like the Capela trade (they overpaid and he was key player for them) but I understand that the window for Houston to win is closing and they need to go all in. If they can get a decent center it would end up being a decent trade deadline for them, otherwise it would be a disaster.

I still like Morey having balls to make those kind of moves though.

Any chance the Denver could try to get Gallo back? They got worse in the trade and got a FRP. They may be looking at a wing I guess. Probably Gallo's salary is a bit too high for them though...

Now that they are playing Westbrook at Center, Houston could trade for Noel and pay him this offseason. He would be a good fit there.

The Nuggets would have to trade Harris to make it work.

I think Milsap, Grant and Porter are all 4’s in this league while Denver really needs wing help. Could be a weird fit.

I think Denver is after Jrue Holiday...

I get the feeling we won't be trading Gallo or Schroeder.
