Wow....thought Wiggins was the answer.....or Bogdanovic was taking us to the next level .....or Bjelica was the difference...

so is Gordon your flavor of the week ??

Bjelica was a throw in I like a lot. But good memory.

No AG was my perfect fit choice the whole time. That was as soon as draft was over and didn’t get Brandon Clarke. But the Hole in roster that Gordon was perfect fit was half filled w Grant.

Wiggins was always as negative value but yes I def still think he fits perfect. And W all the wings Nugs have that need is half filled too.

The 3rd scorer and big time shooter that Bogdanovic is would be the 3rd guy.

No I’m not changing. Those 3 guys and 3 roles have been the same for me the whole time. Team needs a 3rd scorer in playoff games. Those are the 3 spots it could come from and 3 guys nobody here has thought of better options in trade ideas

As I have stated before I do admire your conviction and I also have to give credit where it's due, I have come around to seeing the value in Brandon Clarke, he's a player.

AG is not a need, PF has been solid for us with Millsap and Grant so it would really be a lateral move at best. As I and others contend, his fit next to Jokic would be poor unless he could/would change his game which most players that have maintained the spotlight aren't willing to do.

Wiggins I will NEVER accept as a Nugget fit, he's inefficient, a poor defender and a lousy decision maker.

Bogdanovic wants out of SAC because he wants to start and make starter money, obviously NOT a team player, it's about the money.

You prob believe it but I will admit I’m a repetitive speaker in my work life too. And something I say a lot and has taken me a long time to understand is I (and admittedly I have to shoot high on my 7/10). Anyway I always say I’ll give you 10 ideas and 7 of them are genius. You have to figure out which 3 to discard because I’m too dumb to know the difference and will argue w you forever on the 3 that will blow things up.

You guys could easily be right on some specifics that I’m missing on huge. But I do think my main theme of this team is still missing something to be a title contender is true. So thinking of and looking for the 3rd or 4th guy that can score in the playoffs is still a valid search. This team is too deep to not be complete.

Some interesting insight on your take Coeur, here's my take on what you wrote:

We have all agreed you do repeat yourself, that doesn't change others opinions for the most part. Just because you say it doesn't make it right it just open conversation. Don't expect everyone tyo just agree because you think you're right

ANYONE who thinks that 70% of what they say is genius is just a bit on the arrogant side IMO, part of what rubs most people ( maybe it's just me ??) the wrong way. That type of arrogance doesn't seem to listen so there's no room to compromise.

Agreed this isn't a complete team but is it more that this isn't YOUR complete team ?? There are more than one way to build a championship team, just compare the 2004 Pistons to the 2007 Spurs to the 2013 Warriors, each are completely different styles yet each won championships.

Nuggets Made 'Very Aggressive' Extension Offer To Malik Beasley

I'm just curious to know what was Denver's final offer to Malik. That first 30/3 offer was just wrong, which forced Beasley to change his agent into Rich Paul. Maybe Beasley would accept 40/3 offer at first if that was what we offer at the start, not at the end when he has Paul as his agent.

Yeah that offer made it seem like they’re so far apart that they should trade him ASAP for as much as you can get

Last night Beasley put on a strong performance shooting 9-16 from the field 5-10 from 3-pt range. Watching him from last year, some say he's regressed but I am lead to thinking that may be due to his reduced minutes and perhaps because the Nuggets trying to "stash " him from the thieves of the free agent market. With Murray and Harris out, we (and the rest of the NBA) should get a chance to see what Beasley can do with some regular minutes. If he performs well, we have a duel dilemma: do we pay a good piece to our championship build or do we trade him for fear of losing him for nothing in free agency ??

Malik, you've been fun to watch and have a great many fans here. I believe you will soon be a starter and look forward to watching you show your abilities to their fullest.

While I wish Beasley well, I would have liked him to take the $30M deal we offered. Will be interesting to see if he can start for the T-pups (especially with their SG competition, Turner, Okogie and Crabbe). At least we won't have to worry about free agency and losing him for nothing (MEM serious suitor) and I'll be watching to see what he does get. He does have the potential to makes this trade look bad for us.

Barton was awful last season with 40-34-77 percentages and game type with not fits Jokic-Murray, but Malone gives him 28 minutes per game, while Beasley with great 47-40-85 efficiency gets only 23 minutes. This season when coach's favorite Barton improved his numbers to nice 45-38-77 Malone talked that he even should be in conversations for All-Star game (!?) and takes lead in playing time this season so far as the only player with over 33 minutes playing time, while Beasley PT dropped to just 18 mpg with many DNP games, especially when all are healthy.

It is fair to say that Beasley never gets a fair chance in Denver. His, and Monte Morris improvement, was one of the key factors of last season's big regular-season success (#2 seed). I wish him all the best in this new chapter of his career as well deserved starter since day one. I don't know will he hold that position, because of development of #6 pick Culver is a priority for the Wolves, but he will get finally his 25+ minutes.

We will regret because of bad handling Beasley, who is a better fit for Jokic-Murray than Barton. I hope Malone will not repeat the same mistake with Grant which also tends to play better with more minutes and with starters.

These numbers for 30+ mpg coming from a small sample, but compare under-20 and 20+ stats, and you will see how we lost 23yo with great shooting potential.

Well, that is within a Joker offense, will it translate ?? I do think Malik will thrive with mins and sad we couldn't have seen him do it here

Malik scored 28 points....but he shot 25 times! 14 threes and just one free throw! He will become a really good scorer for sure, but we could not afford the time and shots to develop him.

Btw Juancho had 18 shots! They both combined for 16/43 with 6/21 treys
