The Mets series

Post#1 » by Welfare Fraud » Thu Aug 30, 2007 9:42 pm

Wow, what a game and what a series. I don't know if I've ever seen a better non-playoff series before.

Of course, the Phillies winning all 4 games makes it extra awesome to the second power.

2 games back guys, I BELIEVE!

Now let's hope and pray that the Phillies don't blow it against the Marlins (which they probably will).

I was at the first and second games. So much fun. I really hope this is the year we finally get back to the playoffs. Our bench is so deep.

In a must-win series to keep their playoff hopes alive, the Phils come through we a sweep. I believe in this squad. I don't care that they've screwed us down the stretch in recent years when it comes to the payoff race. It'll come down to how the other teams fare, but I think if we can get to 90 wins then we are in.

In all honesty, Chase Utley was a lot of the different IMO. And now that Hamels is coming back, we are golden.
