Miami wouldn't want any of them.

Is it worth trading Gallo for Duncan Robinson?

Sam needs to exploit Riley’s desire to win this year.

I think Winslow might be more injury prone than Gallo. He’s been out almost the whole season with back issues. Last I read he wasn’t even with the team.

Do we really care if a guy is injury prone. That's how getting young talent cheap works, there has to be some wart.

Before the season, I would have jumped at a Winslow for Gallo trade. There is some concern among even Miami fans that this is more serious. Seeing as this team isn’t desperate to do win now, I want better. Doesn’t sound like he’s an option anyways.

Agree. Sam has all leverage. He should try his best to get Herro. We already have enough bad young players.

If Riley says no, move on. I prefer a remote chance of Sign & trade during the offseason than making a bad trade.

Must be serious if Miami is trading him in the Iggy deal.

ok to be sure. With Iggy + Gallo, Miami would be legit contenders. No reason for Sam to make a bad trade.

Roberson, it depends what is traded back (possibly not expiring). Ferg, might be more likely of interest to Griz. Diallo might interest both.

schroder was horrible before this season. if his shooting improvement is legitimate, obviously he's worth his salary. nobody last year would have had a problem with acquiring schroder if we thought he would be this productive. you're also drawing a false equivalence, since schroder's deal was a larger % of the cap at the time it was signed than iguodala's extension is today.

that said, it might be worth it to keep schroder through the year no matter what offers we get. if he continues to play like this he could be valuable over the summer on an expiring contract.

Crowder to OKC, Roberson to Memphis in the Iggy deal is my guess

Don't feel good about this. if it's a 3 team deal it's probably about getting some asset from Memphis? Don't know why they would send more assets though. We don't have all the details on the iggy trade...

It's nuts to me that this is a sticking point. If Miami really thinks they could get a ring with the hypothetical roster they should do this in a heartbeat.

I don’t like Herro but he better be involved in any of these rumors are true and a trade does happen

There’s no other reason to involve Gallo in that deal... it much more worth it to go all in on this season than to acquire scraps that won’t do anything for the future like James Johnson or Dion Waiters for a pick protection removal

Having Miami remove protections on a 2023 pick makes it much more valuable. I would love to have an actual player but this would be much more valuable than just some mid to late first round pick.

There are a couple of wants in a deal like this:

- change the 2023 pick to unprotected
- trade a 2025 top 10 protected, unprotected in 2026
- Herro

Th Heat would have to do the first item to do the 2nd item. As the Thunder I don’t think that we find much value in the change in the pick terms because it becomes unprotected after 3 years of top 10 protection.

The Thunder could do swaps with the Heat’s FRP for some of our FRP’s. For instance if the Thunder trade the Heat their worst FRP in 2021 and 2023 the Heat would then be allowed to send the Thunder 4 FRP’s (20, 22, 24, & 26) - this nets the Thunder 2 FRP’s in the deal and total control of the Heats FRP’s for the next 6 of the next 7 years.

This Heat team would be really good. But, Sam is going to cripple their future picks.

Would the Rockets trade their 2022 FRP for Noel?
