Really, though... are we sure we want to pay Trezz big money this offseason when his defense and rebounding leave so much to be desired? Not only that, but Doc could easily lose us a playoff series with his stubborn bias for Trezz over Zu. It honestly wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets traded. I like him, but he might not be the right fit for this team right now.

I'm not sold on any of our centers. I believe they're both back ups. I believe zu's lack of experience will show in the playoffs if we're forced to play him major mins and I believe trezz is undersized and bleed points. I favor playing zu depending on the matchup but Doc isn't

As far as the playoffs are concerned, I think people are overreacting to one playoff series against an all-time great team that was built to play traditional centers off the court. That Warriors series was simply a bad matchup for Zu. It just feels like we're a better team with Zu on the court, and Kawhi-to-Zu connection is automatic. With all the frontcourt-centric teams this season, I'm more worried about Trezz's defense/rebounding when it matters.

We're gonna face the Nuggets in the playoffs and cock rivers is going to play Trezz 30 minute straight guarding Jokic

denver just had an improbable win. Clips are .5 game in front. Need this win to keep the cushion.

Second night of a back to back, on the road, with only seven players. Mad respect to that team.

I wasn't even thinking about the warriors. I'm thinking about the skillfull centers that will give him issues. He will foul out in crucial moments of the game imo where as a marc gasol wouldn't and marc could also stretch to the 3 if needed. Also wasn't bad on switches, keeping up with guards like curry which everyone thought he wouldn't be able to do.

It's not really "settling" when they're open and he's making them. I do think the team in general has been a bit too three-point-happy tonight, though.

I was under the impression he was struggling but he's not.

The team is doing good. I thought bam was going to burn us, but with Zu in, they're making a sustained run. He's going to get extended mins in the 3rd. He should in the 4th as well, but ya know.

Hopefully Trez and Lou can keep the momentum going when Leonard and Kawhi sit.

any problem is the garbage Lou and Trezz have to play with on the 2nd unit

Kawhi's plus/minus goes UP when on the floor with Trezz

gotta learn how to read these things

Lou & Trezz just put up a 13-3 run

Them playing defense would help some they are going against bench talent

you're right of course

but Lou and Trezz have to keep the scoreboard ticking
and they do

Shamet is out with the 2nd unit tonight
1-7 so far
Green is a team-worst minus-9

my point, yes?
Lou and Trezz out there with wtf

This is some great team basketball from the Clippers right now. One of the best stretches we've had all year. Good stuff.

ZuPAC! Team plays so well when Zubac and Shamet on the court.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
