GSW get: Vucevic, Okeke, 2020 1st

ORL get: D'Lo, Looney, Poole, Spellman

we dont really get better consider how great Looney has been when he is healthy.

I know a few here are keen on Crowder. He was pulled from the line up just before the teams ran out

i like Loon but Vuc is better, can spread the floor from the 5 hole, decent enough passer/defender, also Chuma is a good wing prospect + their 1st rounder which should be close to lotto range

i'll take that deal all day

He's UFA at the end of thisseason, so if we were to acquire him, I guess it would be with the promise of him resigning with a large role next season.

I like Vucevic, he can play like all-star and handle a big load during the regular season on offense and rebounding. Anything we can do to keep our core three fresh is a good deal. Plus a 1st can be attached to sweeten the TPE. We could even draft Reed or Lewis with where the Magic pick will be.

yup, something like that, i'd take Hampton with our pick and then Lewis with the Orlando pick, roll into next yr with:

G - Steph / Hampton
G - Klay / Burks / Lee
F - Chuma / Lewis / GR3
F - Dray / Paschall
C - Vuc / Smiley

maybe bring Bogut back or trade Paschall for Bol

don't expect Myers to pull anything like this thru tho.

Outsider here, but how do these deals look to PHI fans? Would take place after the season obviously.

DLo, Spellman to PHI for Horford, Thybulle

GSW FRP (#1-3) to DET for DET FRP (#6-8), Luke Kennard, 2021 Top-3 Protected FRP

Then draft Deni Avdija with that DET pick and sign DJ Augustin w/ a portion of the MLE

G - Steph Curry / DJ Augustine
G - Klay Thompson / Luke Kennard
F - Deni Avdija / Mattisse Thybulle
F - Draymond Green / Eric Paschall
C - Al Horford / Keyvon Looney

Dlo for Dieng, Culver, Okogie, 2021 FRP, Nets FRP

Sign Mike James to start at PG the rest of the season

Looney had a nice showcase last night and I think he is traded to get under the tax to avoid the repeater tax.

Nope.....I, for one, am extremely happy they held onto Looney. I really liked Spellman too, but getting rid of Evans, and getting under the tax proved to be the way to go.

I liked Spellman too... but getting rid of Evans is the real jewel of this trade. Now we can focus all hatred directly at Poole... oh no... and Wiggins. :banghead:

With D-Lo gone we have the following assets:

· 17 million TPE
· MLE
· 2020 top 5 pick
· 2021 two 1st round picks
· 2020 two 2nd round picks
· 2021 three 2nd round picks

Any suggestions how we build a Championship team?

we are over the cap right? so the TPE will not make much sense, unless we are paying some crazy tax...I think we should go for Gasol if possible

Why will the TPE not make much sense if you're over the cap? It's an exception, you can only use it if you're over the cap.

I think we really need Gasol because he brings some of the things that Bogut and Zaza did well. The underrated aspect of our run was how savvy the guys were collectively in terms of floor IQ and cohesion. I like Gasols ability to pass and body up guys and contest and clog the lane on defense.

If we got Gasol I think we could be right on track with the amount of size, skilled passing, and floor IQ we need. It may even be enough to open things up for Wiggins where he can just be an athlete.

I guess the trickery of it is based on us signing him with MLE while under the cap at 9 million. If we use the TPE before the MLE that brings us down to 5 million I believe.

The center market for the MLE is not good. I am guessing Howard would be your second best bet. But with Wiggins I don't see the fit unless Howard plays off the bench because we play so much on ball movement.

D-Lo for Steven Adams would have been a good fit.
