Yeah... Trump is Eddie Haskell and she's Mrs. Cleaver. June... he's in his 70's - the only thing he's learning is that he's getting away with it, because you're a character in a 1960's sitcom. Wake the bleep up - Ward's coming home to beat you while Wally and the Beav film it for youtube. A lesson? Really June? Should we get an order of sand to bury your head in?

It really does write itself doesn’t it? So many ways to take that quote but it’s pretty much a blank check for corruption, just don’t get caught.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I couldn’t be bothered to watch Trump’s parade of nauseating lies but here is a fact check for those of you who are interested.

I haven't watched a State of the Union since 1976. It's the Oscars without the stars. It's a political passion play without the passion. It's a bad TV movie. It's rejected ABC after school special.

Oh, and I was working. Trump told some lies, you say?

They think that black voters are as easily duped as the “economic anxiety” white voters. Black voters are probably the most sophisticated and diverse voting bloc. They know when they’re being fed bull.

Besides Trump’s 2020 strategy isn’t trying to peel off black votes, it’s about energizing first time black voters and depressing the black vote in key battleground states. Voter suppression, gerrymandering and misinformation will do the rest. Expect whoever is the Democratic nominee to be subject to unsubstantiated claims from the right wing eco chamber of “This person hates black people”.

Don't care much for Romney, but I'll give him credit for his conviction.

Absent of considering all of the facts, and to me that's at the very least voting to allow for witness testimonials, I have a really tough time reconciling how you can claim to have upheld your oath as a senator to be an impartial judge in this impeachment trial.

The sad part is that the American voters hold Democrats and Republicans to different standards so even if Democrats started taking the gloves off, they would get penalized. The right has figured out how to game the media and straight up lie in order to make it seem like a both sides problem when it’s exclusively a Republican problem.

Agreed. I’ve been no fan of Romney, but I am now. That was an extremely courageous decision and a brilliant speech.

It just might have ended his political career... but saved his soul.

I agree with all of this above but Mitt Romney has never been one of the bad guys.

- he wanted to get rid of the farm subsidies
- wanted to get rid of PACs
- was on the right side of healthcare reform even as a governor
- has always wanted to balance the budget
- was on the right side of the energy and climate change debate for a long-time

Okay, he was off on the military.

One of the few good things about Iowa. The other was the turnout seemed to skew young, which is promising for the Dems.

In general it was a huge mess. I don't think it matters in the scheme of things and I think having 4 or 5 serious candidates for a while isn't a bad thing.

It'll just be something they can put on his tombstone...so it will look like he was somewhat of a consequential human being.
