Kings just traded Dedmon.

Wow the Heat might get Gallinari too. They are loading up for a real playoff run. I'm quite impressed with what they have done this year. Thought Jimmy would have been in the lottery.

2nd year is a team option, I'd guess there's some guaranteed money on that 2nd year, basically, Miami wanted him for this year and next.

Right now Miami is trying to acquire Gallinari and Noel, they're trying to get Noel to waive his no-trade clause, not sure who'd be going back to OKC.

All in. Win now etc. Riley knows that their time is now.

If OKC is doing a fire sale that is really messed up. They have a good playoff team.

I just don't think Iggy will be any good any more. Too old and too long of a layoff.

Yeah, I agree. But maybe just maybe even a broken Iggy will be enough for MIA to return to the finals

Alec Burks has been playing like a star for GS just traded along with GRIII for 3 SRPs. We should have traded for Burks. Our SRP is more valuable than Philly's.

He is UFA in less than 6 months, it does not make any sense to trade any our asset for him.

I think that is what the main difference between a lot of people on here is. I agree, OKC has a good team, but are they going to win the championship? That is what the NBA has turned into. No one is happy unless you have a superteam that is going to get you a championship. Now, some fans just appreciate winning and making the playoffs knowing that there is a chance, no matter how small. Others have seen what teams have done and basically don't want to invest time in teams that have no chance to win it all, and routinely want to blow things up in hopes of hitting on the next superstar to lead them to the next level. (Especially in the West)

Complete UFA at the end of the season? OK. However, maybe we give up a freaking nearly worthless SRP and put him a leading role on our team and he likes being the man. Maybe we can keep him. This trade was horrible news for my money league fantasy team.

I think Miami made a stupid move trading for Iggy, but I admire them going for it.

More on Miami. Looks like they will get Gallinari also, but just last night Butler goes down with an injury. What if that injury proves to be serious and all this maneuvering and giving up of future assets is wasted?

They're trying to extend Gallinari and get Noel to waive his no trade clause, I'd expect Olynyk would be heading to OKC to replace Gallinari's stretch 4 shooting. As far as it seems, Winslow may be the only young player being moved plus they'd be lowering/dropping some of their protections on the draft picks OKC already has.

Thanks for the update. I didn't know all the particulars, but if the deal involves removing protections on draft picks owed that to me is giving up future assets.

The Pistons just gave Andre Drummond away for crap players and a 2nd round pick from the Cavs.
Brandon Knight, John Henson and a SRP.

About to become a free agent and didn't want to pay him

He's an incredible player. I would have preferred having him for the rest of the season compared to getting those bums and a SRP even if I knew for a fact we couldn't keep him. I guess now they can be in the running for the #1 overall pick.

Get this the 2nd round pick is the Warriors 2023. That will be 50 something to 60.
