Could they make a run at Hayward?

They will have tons of cap space this summer after this trade. But they are most likely aiming for 2021 FA class.

Going off the Kennard idea too, he played with Tatum at Duke so there may be a little familiarity there as well!

Wonder if Miami makes a move for Hayward this summer?

Hmmmmm it's an interesting question.

Would that eat up into Giannis space in 2021 though? Maybe they want Jrue Holiday?

When can giannis get that extension offered? I fee he’s going to sign it the day or close after it’s offered. Curious to see if that makes them pivot rolling the space into 2021

Maybe it's because the details of the trade leaked slowly and we didn't have the full picture, but it doesn't look good that they seemed to be getting Winslow for just the value of Iguodala and then added in crowder to take back bad salary.

Not so sure about that. If Hayward continues to play well for the rest of the season, Pat may well decide to go after him this year. Unlike Ainge, when Pat sees an opportunity to win a championship he does go for it. He's not waiting for what may or may not happen in the future.

Thats my guess, but they do now have a max spot free for this summer.

Maybe I'm being biased, but this doesn't seem like a very good deal for Miami.

I am looking forward to Ainge talking about how he was very, very close to doing something but just couldn’t get it over the finish line. But it was very, very, very close.

Why wait? Just watch last years

I get that, but they're trying to win this year. This doesn't make them much better.

He’d most definitely wait for a big fish like giannis who actually correlates to rings. Hayward is a good add on TJ a team- he’s not changing the balance of the nba.

Giannis does that and if he declines the extension that means he is at least in play. That means Riley has a shot.

Don’t think giannis becomes available
