Nope. Saving cap space for 2021.

I think they are keeping options open. They just traded for bunch of expirings although all the trash contracts would have been off the books by 2021.

Look like a Marcus Morris for Kuzma is close to be done.
I hate it.

I've been sorta over Morris since he's made a jack ass out of himself recently.

Also I'm sure next time we play them the Jays will make Morris look bad

I wonder if Ainge found out they were going to cut Burke for Burks and said yeah I will pick up that guy for free.

Not so sure about that. If Hayward continues to play well for the rest of the season, Pat may well decide to go after him this year. Unlike Ainge, when Pat sees an opportunity to win a championship he does go for it. He's not waiting for what may or may not happen in the future.

He’d most definitely wait for a big fish like giannis who actually correlates to rings. Hayward is a good add on TJ a team- he’s not changing the balance of the nba.

Giannis does that and if he declines the extension that means he is at least in play. That means Riley has a shot.

Don’t think giannis becomes available

Hayward on a team with Butler, Dragic and another year of development for the likes of Bam, Herro and Robinson is a strong contender in the East.

Well, it would be very Pat the Rat-like to screw over Danny one more time.

You don’t settle for a Honda Accord when you can get a lambo in a year

Doubtful. He is being released because he’s on an expiring deal I believe and isn’t good

If the Honda can get you to where you wanna go and you're not sure a Lambo is gonna be there in a year, maybe you do.

If you can build a team that gives you a real chance of competing for a championship now, do it. The Raptors are proof of that. There's no point in doing what Ainge has been doing for the last few years, which is wait for a future that may never come.

Timelord is our deadline acquisition. And a promise of good health for everyone until late June.

I mean, unless the nukes are flying and you got to get up into the hills now and a lambo in a year is a year too late.

I don't really know what the nukes are in this metaphor. Maybe an extended lockout? I didn't have an exit plan...

That’s fine but I’d still be worried about the lack of shooting and scoring on the bench. Kanter is essentially the only threat to even hit double digits off the bench and Wanamaker can’t be playing 20 mpg if they wanna make a run at the finals

15 PER and 42% from 3 sounds good to me he is on minimum salary deal as well.
