The people who doesn't want to trade second rounds in the trade deadline know how bad Ainge is with second rounds or his track record?

So Danny is once again going to sit on his hands at the deadline and horde 2nd rounders and not improve his already young, inexperienced bench? All in an effort to keep end of bench scrubs like Poirier and Green?

Wat.

So unless I’m mistaken, Ainges last trade deadline move was IT in 2015. That’s crazy to think

As likable as he is, Green will get waived with prejudice if anyone worth having comes available.

They can cut green, is the most likely move at this point.

He's like Riley's mouthpiece. Thats probably a direct quote from him - "Brian, write this down. I don't want you to F this up because its complicated."

Late first rounders seem to be his main current stash.

And he has acknowledged that his bench is too young.

I think one of his challenges may be that he has spoiled Wyc over the years with one-sided deals--and so Wyc expects more of the same.

Y'all know we're only projected to have one 2nd round pick this year, right? And we currently own no one else's after this year.

If by 'hoarding' you mean keeping one per year, cool. But if you're under the impression we're still sitting on a ton of them, you're mistaken.

As it currently stands, the BOS and ATL 2nds will not convey, leaving only the lesser of BRK/NYK this year.

Hmmm.... not posting didn't work. Back to useless comments in a vain attempt at building an insurmountable lead on the WoS.

Going forward we need a good 3 who has 3 or 4 years of experience to pair with Ja, Jaren, and Dillion and we now have that player in Winslow. We can not sign free agents here in Memphis yet so we have to trade to get good young players with some experience. Sure Riley made us take a couple of not so flattering contracts but that's okay.

We should do a 5 year retrospective and re-visit if the tankers or anti-tankers were right.

Miami can’t beat us with or without their new players, but for the love of all things, this Celtics roster needs some veteran depth.

Having to rely on this injury prone team with just young guys in the playoffs is a death sentence.

There’s zero reason Vincent Poirier should be on this roster when there’s a million vets who could be had for his contract and a 2nd.
