See? This is what I'm talking about, they lost Jerry West and lost their sense. DLO was leading Nets to the playoffs. Wiggins? Is what you call the weak link of your team. Dude couldn't work hard in crappy weather state, you think he's gonna work hard in Cali? GSW about to work real hard convincing this dude.

Wiggins started off the season HOT. However - I would take D-Lo over him any day. Maybe a change of atmosphere would benefit Wiggins. D-Lo and KAT will be nice together.

Who cares about fit. Wiggins doesnt try. You cant change who people are.

not entirely true... he doesn't care is the more reasonable analogy of his problems and the root of that mindset has always been he had no faith in his teammates so he just stays luke warm without that confidence. He can easily take over a game when motivated

lol. Thats a lie. Wiggins has had the same problems going back to high school. Has nothing to do with teammates.

He doesnt care about basketball. He didnt care when he was in high school. He didnt care in college. He doesnt care in the NBA. Has he never had faith in teammates?

I suspect that D'Lo's value around the league is a lot lower than what fans perceive his value to be. Everyone keeps saying he was an all-star, but he made the all-star team as an injury replacement in the east. That's the Mo Williams special.

Such a bad move for GSW. Wolves fleed them.

GSW traded for essentially a more expensive Harrison Barnes.

It's only top 3 protected, and unprotected the following season (2022) if it doesn't convey. As with all trades involving significant trade assets, it'll probably take a couple of years to know who won this one.

That makes it very slightly better.

Guess Minny did good here. They got who they wanted w/ what they had.

Warriors probably going to turn Wiggins into an All Star next year and we’ll all look stupid for clowning him and them - I could see it now, everyone pretending they knew he was good all along.

GSW probably think they can trade Wiggens to Toronto for Siakam or something ridiculous like that.

Crazy trade, doesn't make sense for either team. Probably more to come?

I guess the Warriors are NOT light years ahead of the rest of the NBA. I never really understood why they signed DLo to begin with, and now I am totally confused. So, are they going to resign Green at the end of the year for a max contract? Then, they will have 4 max contracts, at least 2 being past their prime, and 1 might be that is coming off injury, and 1 never was any good. On the plus side, Minnesota's pick in 2021 should be decent you would think, and Golden State will have a top pick in 2020.

I thought you would need to add two first round picks for anyone to just take Wiggins back?...They did it for less than that and got a decent (maybe better than decent) player back.

Wondering why my Cavs can NOT trade Love if this is what Minny got for Wiggins.

Wiggins is gonna ball out in the run & gun Warriors offense next to Curry and Klay - he's a perfect fit.

This is a good trade for both teams.

Protection aside, Minny has a good chance of putting together a decent team next year. Wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs.

They have DLo, Beasley, Okogie, Culver, Layman, Juancho, KAT, Dieng.

They can open up a max slot in the off-season.

I actually think this could be good for the Warriors. Wiggins could prove to be a better fit in a new role different from what he had in Minny.

The Covington trade is a bit strange now, isn't he the exact type of player you'd want playing next to DLo and KAT? They need as many 3+D players as they can get since those 2 are ball dominant and not the best defensively to say the least.

From what I've read, Beasley is bad defensively as well. The Wolves are still going to be as easy to score on, if not more so. I think GS knows this and is betting on that 1st round pick to be pretty high.

This is going to be a fun trade to evaluate as it plays out.

This is either going to be a genius move for the Warriors or a very bad one, there's no in between.

Wiggins defense will be pretty good with the Warriors I think. This will be his first time playing in actual system with players that don't lose 12 games straight and then cry about a perceived all-star game snub.
