Kabengele and Mann I love. Both guys were among my 'best value' players in their drafts. If they can get both guys and that 1st round pick from the Clips it would be a sweat deal.

Well the hope is that Rose isn't Isiah isn't it? Or do you want to hold your breath until you pass out and the Knicks still go in the direction that it was always going to be going all along? I said this over and over again, pick a plan and stick with it. Still better than changing your mind every 2 or 3 years. Getting these guys in would address that.

Plan isn't the problem, hiring execs that have no idea what they're doing is the problem. This hire doesn't fix that. Probably makes it worst since I'd imagine this incoming crew will have no compunction giving up draft picks in stupid trades.

Based on what? You're panicking that every guy is Isiah Thomas. Experienced agents know players just as much as experienced GM's do. Why's that? Cause they are fighting for clients that they can make money off of so they have to know the duds from the studs pretty quickly. They have experience dealing with NBA front office execs cause...well...that's their jobs. The best agents do their best when getting the most out of NBA execs. Rose? he's considered one of the best agents in that regard. This isn't Phil Jackson. Rose's former work history lines up a lot closer to a GM than Phil Jackson's work history. Give the guy a chance. It's funny cause people wanted to give Phil Jackson (less qualified) years upon years upon years of chances and yet Rose? He's already out of chances before his seat at the garden is even warm. Why's that?

This is a great get, if it does include both of them. I know West is EXTREMELY HIGH on Mann, so that in itself should tell you something

I'd love a 2026 first, Clips rebuilding 6 years from now and we have their pick would be lovely. Especially considering 6 years from now is about the timeline our young guys will be on real contracts and need drafted support. Obviously is a high likely for them to trade a 26 pick and would definitely rather a sooner first but wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Both plays tough physical defense, has sacrificed their stats for the sake of their teams well being in college and are fan favorites in Clip town. Both guys have NBA tools and are the types of guys that you want to have if you want to compete every minute of every game (even if you don't win).

His uncle is Dikembe Mutombo. I remember his draft profile said he has shooting range out to 3pt as well.
