Is IT coming with Beratans to Boston?

Send him home

That would so awesome, that’s why I don’t think it will happen.

How would you feel about another Grant Williams or Rob Williams?

How many of the same guy do we need? Rob Williams is always hurt and Grant looks like he might be a solid 9th man. How many young guys can a team have before there's not enough playing time?

Once we pick a guy those picks lose most of their value because that guy is going to be buried on the bench at least for a while.

Point is most last firsts and seconds miss. Some hit. Folks always name James Young and JJJ and the like when they're trying to justify trading picks because they like to make things sound as dire as possible. Nobody with that objective ever mentions Perkins, Davis, Powe, Gomes, Moore, or the current kids showing some promise. Not that any of those guys are stars, but good faith argumentation would mention the outperformers too, not just the worst of the worst.

Reminder: by just about any metric we’re one of the top 4 teams in the league, despite a bonanza of games missed. That roster was built by Danny Ainge, and Danny Ainge doesn’t care how desperate you are for some action.

Edit to add: also with the second youngest roster in the L and a lot of draft capital.

Cleveland is just speculating with drummond, they likely want him in his contract year to get a first round pick in the next deadline.

I wonder if IT can coexist on this team not being “the man”.

You never know when these guys are goign to pan out. Three year window?
So, we could use some more.

Lol we don't have roster spots for more picks. They pretty much have to go at some point

I think that we'll have some.

Exactly. We can draft 3 more guys and let 3 of the guys we've drafted in the last couple years go but that hasn't worked so far. I'd rather take the chance on seeing what we could trade them for. It doesn't necessarily have to be Bertans but what other value could we get?

If so I'd be disappointed to have them go to more rooks

When awesome players like Tatum Brown Hayward Kemba and Marcus fall from the sky randomly he and Wyc hold the net to catch them. I believe that is the extent of his role.

Doesn't Dieng go to Memphis?
