Except Portland PAID to get rid of a player who played solid rotation minutes for them.
Maybe, but Skal is far from an office dust bin.DusterBuster wrote:Olshey could trade a dust bin in the office for cash considerations and fans here would still complain the Blazers got screwed.

Oh sorry, I forgot all fans have to pay that bill... :eyeroll:
Seriously, who gives a **** if Portland paid something cash to another team. That literally effects nothing but Jodie Allen’s pocketbook.
Perhaps some here are not so concerned that a mult-billionaire has an extra few million to store. Indeed, even with very conservative investing, she will have more than any penality would have cost, by the end of the year.DusterBuster wrote:Roy The Natural wrote:DusterBuster wrote:Olshey could trade a dust bin in the office for cash considerations and fans here would still complain the Blazers got screwed.

Fair, he also was no world beater. He’s still a 10th-15th man off the bench for any competent team.
My post was more just in reference to how this forum does this overreaction annually whenever there’s a salary consideration move made.

He could have been the third big next year when Whiteside leaves, as well. He wasn't an outstanding player, but I did like what he brought (offense and okay defense).
