You made excuses and talked about the rockets and Mavericks who aren’t winning a damn thing. He’s not been the best player on the floor vs the actual contenders. Heck more so he’s not once tried to defend or stop the best player which would rally the team and set staples on fire because that is what Kobe or MJ would do in that spot.
Lol give me a break. You don't get to call some teams contenders and others not contenders just to fit your argument You're considering the Celtics and Sixers contenders while simultaneously dismissing the Rockets, Nuggets, Jazz, Mavericks, and Heat. The Sixers are the 6th seed. How many 6 seeds have made the Finals?
The Rockets aren’t a contender
- D’Antoni isn’t a playoff coach who makes adjustments
- Harden routinely chokes and plays no D
- Westbrook is dumb as rocks, shoots teams out, and hasn’t been past the first without KD
- Now add in the fact the Clips can play their five smalls with Kawhi PG Lou Morris Shamet
The Nuggets aren’t a contender
- They have no star perimeter guys to go to with everything on the line
- Harris has regressed
- they didn’t consolidate their guys into a star
Jazz
- Conley hasn’t been good this year
- Clarkson went ghost last playoffs he played in and he is their offensive bench
Mavs
- Not Ready yet, need a Center, Luka and Unicorn both go get baptized in the playoffs
Heat
- the heat missed multiple guys both games and suck on the road.
The contenders are Boston, Phili, Bucks, and Clippers. Clippers have kicked his ass this year and it’s not close, in fact he played hurt one game and said there’s no rivalry the other after Kawhi ran a king of la commercial. Boston best the **** out of him on national tv. Freak dominated him in prime time and he didn’t defend anyone at all, in fact they ran pick and roll at him and exploited his not switching and closing out. Ben Simmons ran circles around him, defended him on the other end, and did it without Embiid
