That sibling we got on a west coast doing great. We going to need some help to compete vs them next year.

Trey Burke without hesitation.

Burke is the guy I want too. With how injury prone Kyrie & Caris are, we need a serviceable PG behind Dinwiddie. We need an upgrade over Pinson.

Happy for DLO that he got his contract and can now start playing with his friend.

Worth keeping an eye on Markieff Morris who likely gets bought out.

If he gets bought out, it's to go to a contender. I bet he'd really like to go to the Clippers to play with his brother again.

If anything, it'd be the Lakers, because Clippers already have a bunch of bigs at his position (his superior twin, Green, Harrell). With Lakers, he would be in the same city as his brother but be in position to get more PT. Either way, we wanted to sign him last season when he got bought out, but he picked OKC over us.

Woj mentioned that Rockets actually asked us about DJ, and wanted to trade for him, but we turned it down. Not surprised that we turned it down but the inquiry from a top playoffs team is surprising.

I can see Allen getting traded this off-season. Hopefully it's Turner for cheap.

Definitely, he's like Napier. Great for a 3rd stringer and can take over a game or 2 .

What about Tyler Johnson? he just got waived but I'm not sure how good he's been this season. I remember we signed him to that exact contract too before Miami matched lol crazy times.

I would definitely swap Allen for Turner . Turner is better defensively and can knock down the 3.

I've thought about that before actually too. Turner seems to offer a bit more than Allen. Making the contracts match and adding to the deal would be the challenge.

If it came down to Tyler Johnson v. Pinson, I'll take Johnson. Could the Nets make that move if they wanted to?

I've seen enough of Pinson. He's fine in the blowout moments and running the bench mob, but Johnson can offer more.

And if we're worried about Kyrie missing time here and there through the end of the season and even moving forward, get a guy like Johnson on the team if you can.

Yup he can expend our offense and that alone will take us to another level. Him being young and on a great value contact is cherry on top.

Kyrie's lack of availability has hurt for sure but yes, we need a bit more.

Irving, Durant, Jordan and Temple are going nowhere. Harris should be resigned and Dinwiddie definitely needs to be here.

Outside of that, Marks needs to use the MLE and trades to get this roster to a championship level. We need to add more size, some athleticism/defense on the wing, possibly maybe even explore the possibility of a 3rd star.

KD, Kyrie, Din and DJ is the only one that safe imo. Teams will know we going to be shopping around draft night when picks will be overvalued.

Temple will be retained because he's one of the folks Kyrie lobbied to bring here and he serves a role as a respected locker room leader and 3 + D player off the bench. Joe Harris is a must resign because we need an elite shooter with KD in the line up.

To me, It looks like the plan is to keep our current core(including Joey Buckets) and wait for KD to see what this group actually looks like on the floor as a unit. After we see what we're working with, then I can see Marks trying to make adjustments depending on results.

Next season will basically be the same team + KD + vet signed via MLE/Mini.

Chandler, Pinson and maybe TLC will be gone.

TLC has just been signed, happy about that. Chandler and Pinson is gone, maybe Musa too.

The one thing I think we really need to put us over the top is a very good small forward that can play next to KD. We're pretty much set at every position, we just need to add more depth. We thought Prince would be that guy but he's not. We need a legit starting SF wing next to KD that can defend a knock down shots. Covington would of been the perfect guy but he's not going anywhere so we'll have to look elsewhere. Isaac is untradeable. Our 2 biggest trade chips are Prince and Levert, if Levert can get his value up.

And we need a 3rd sting point guard like a Napier type. We can never have too much shooting no matter what position. We need tough defenders. We need a backup PF when Chandler leaves. I hope we keep Kurucs. As for a 3rd star, I'm not sure who that guy is. Who will be a good fit next to Kyrie/KD? I definitely want Moe Harkless on this team.
