Not sure he is any better of a fit than Russell was. Russell is the better catch and shoot 3pt shooter and neither play any sort of defense. At least Russell knows how to pass the ball, while ya Russell dribbles it more than Wiggins, its not like Wiggins is known for his off ball movement and great team play. Wiggins will be put into the 3&D role, he doesn't shoot the 3 well and doesn't defend. Also for a guy with major motor questions and having the tendency to disappear during games, completely taking the ball out of his hands doesn't sound like the best way to think hes going to stop disappearing during games.

Well, it took 4 years, but Warriors finally got their Harrison Barnes replacement they have been looking for.

Ws had KD, but he's gone. Wiggins would be the next best SF (unless Klay goes there) since Lacob became owner. He is about the same as GRob III this season, but should have better output with the faster paced and open floor Warriors. On defense, he can block some shots, but he'll hurt us there as he doesn't play much D and seems to be of low b-ball IQ. I really don't mind him as a player, but will have to see how he does. What is killer tho is his contract. He will be hard to trade if he doesn't work out, but I got my fingers crossed that he'll thrive more in GSW's system. Even tho he was an overall #1 pick and a bust, he's not going to change overnight. I can only hope he helps the team. Hard to say what his averages will be right now.

Now that's he's no longer a Wolf, are we going to keep seeing biweekly "How bad is Wiggins?" threads on the General Board? Because those sure were cool and clever and not at all totally **** and repetitive reads.

I'd imagine you'll see even more threads if he's awful on the Warriors.

I think Warriors will make it work. Wiggins will slide into that SF hole. Curry and Klay will open a lot of space for him.
Don't forget about the top 4 lotto pick they have. Once everyone is healthy, they'll get back to contending.

Same, trade benefits both teams, Kat get's his good friend, and they might shake up roster in Minnesota. Warriors get better fit with Wiggins that should fit well with healthy Warriors roster. Curry, Klay, Wiggins and Draymond is a really solid core, and those guys could motivate Wiggins to realize his potential.

I suspect that D'Lo's value around the league is a lot lower than what fans perceive his value to be. Everyone keeps saying he was an all-star, but he made the all-star team as an injury replacement in the east. That's the Mo Williams special.

Correct, I remember when he was traded to GS, everyone assumed he get dealt in a year and bring a great haul.

I voted for Minnesota, but really I think the only ones who win are any fans of other teams that were worried about a Warriors resurgence next year.

I can't really say Minnesota "won". I don't expect them to be much better than they have been, and they gave up a few picks to get there. I do think they'll like Spellman.

As for the Warriors, maybe we'll be a little better (particularly when you factor in the picks). But Russell, packaged with other stuff, was the main weapon I saw for making us *much* better, and I don't see us being able to package up Wiggins in the same way. Combine that with Iguodala's extension in Miami, and I think we are what we are. Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond, Looney, and a high draft pick. That's a good team, but I doubt it strikes fear into any of you.
