the rest of the world is not obligated to adhere to your made up nomenclature. i respect that you have a different definition of the term 'superstar', a definition that that is so indistinct and nebulous that you say it applies to 'about 5' players. and current russell westbrook is apparently on the cusp of being in this select group- according to you. i mean, it's your definition though so you're free to make up whatever you want. that's the beauty of evaluating players based on arbitrary concepts like whether or not they have "it".

i'm done though. i'm still too hyped on the afterglow of the super bowl (even though the niners lost) that i can't reduce myself to this dumb squabbling! check back in if you want to chat about what ben simmons actually does on the court instead of what fantasy labels you want to put on him.

Attemping 5 shots as a 6'10" freak of nature athlete playing PG is some bull. Having zero jump shot after 4 professional seasons is some bull.

Ben Simmons will never be a superstar, nor live up to his enormous potential by being passive on the offensive end and never learning how to shoot the basketball (or at least even attempting to let it fly)

I don't think Simmons would have as much of an impact in a team with shooters like Giannis but, i do think he has superstar potential. It all depends on him developing a jumper.

I repeat, this is year four of his professional career... he still won't even attempt to shoot the ball. He will never develop an adequate jumper
