Are trades still open or has the deadline come and gone?

Of course there will be a couple trades that were done but not announced yet right?

Usually that's within the first 15-30 minutes

It's depressing how poorly the traditional center position is viewed. Drummond is 26 years old and great, gets traded for scraps. :nonono:

NBA on TNT is clowning Houston for going full time small ball.

Houston is essentially playing college basketball, the problem is too many teams have guys that will be able to exploit their lack of size and rebounding.

Yeah I'm not sure I understand their doubling down on this so much.

RoCo has been nice tonight for Houston, he's definitely a great fit for them. His ability to roam is really helpful and he's made some great defensive plays.

Just like with Jimmy Butler last year teams are going to regret not going harder to get Covington. He can help a contender for sure. Was clutch tonight and think he will be way better in a role where he isn't one of the top guys teams focus on. Roaming, getting open looks, he can be money there.

Going to miss Cov's D that's for sure. He's a streaky shooter.

These trades have basically increased my joy of the NBA. My wolves are going to be way more interesting to watch. Then I get to watch several former wolves play for other teams. Will keep an eye on Covington, KBD, Wiggins, Dieng. Good stuff.

So to make the playoffs, Minnesota would probably have to go something like 27-5 the rest of the way to be in the conversation. Not saying we will or we should go for it, but fun to think about...

I don't think we are even an average team yet. 27-5 isn't going to happen.
