Lol I don’t think they’re a great fit, but that’s a REACH.

After the first half of the Bucks game and watching how Tobi and Al fits well with Ben. I think Biid’s complain is the team prioritizing its built for Ben, instead of Biid.

I think Biid thinks Jj and Jimmy are his guys. Im talking about guys who has good chemistry with him.

But Biid has to realize that he is the leader. The reason why he is the leader is because he is alpha. And a leader has to do his sacrifice for the betterment of the group.

My another guess is Biid is showing the team that he is not that good on offense that he also needs help to unlock his offense. So we’re trying to load the team with combo shooters like shayok, milton, kork and burks. Josh Rich isn’t working out for him so far

I believe the FO believes that the key to win the championship is unlocking Ben.

I don’t think the fit matters right now. Embiid is grossly out of shape. I just saw him get blown by Wes Matthews. That would not have happened 2 years ago. He honestly looks like a shell of his former self in turns of athleticism. He’s regressed over the last 2 years. I can forgive the injuries of course, but conditioning at this point is inexcusable. He should be getting just as much criticism as Simmons for not shooting 3s.

Agreed. He was out with a hand injury and had the chance to get on a treadmill or in the gym every single day for hours to truly get his body in playoff shape. And he came back looking worse than ever before.

Maybe Ms. Colangelo was onto something. Remember when she said about Embiid in the infamous tweet,
“If I had a medium size ladder, I would love to knock some sense in Joel’s head right now,” and “He is playing like a toddler having tantrums.”

You cant be the leader if your team doesnt treat you as one. What other "leader" was forced to play out of position and had all his friends on the team and players that he had chemistry with traded away?

Having said that Embiid's physical condition is a bit alarming. I dont know if it is psychological, physical or just being out of shape but he needs to improve on that if he wants to be able to lead a team.

At this point he is not a leader and neither is Ben. Im not even sure they can grow into that.

Embiid is not at an optimal weight and has been frustrated all season. He looks like roy hibbert out there not good. I just hope he wont get injured at all for the rest of the season and playoffs. So in the offseason he need to work on that body, lose some weight and gain some strength. He has to be in the gym refining his game.

F.O need to get him a **** point guard who can shoot!!!

Yeah Embiid is at fault too, it is evident he has a childish attitude. His bad conditioning and low effort is his way to "pout" when things don't go his way. That being said, things start at the top, the root of frustrations is Brett and Brand, one for assembling a terrible roster that doesn't fit, the other because he can't coach for **** and has a preferency list.

I guess we all saw Embiids quotes by now about how he has to go back to being "fun Joel" after the game last night but did anyone see the video? He was smiling while he said it, somewhat laughing at the suggestion he made himself. That was kinda jarring to see. And if he thinks he's going to be having a lot of fun at these home games going forward he has another thing coming. Be prepared for the boos, man.

Embiid is showing his whole ass ATM.

Not going to sugar coat it. Dude claimed to want to be the MVP and DPOTY and is not even close to that. He needs to get his fat ass in shape (I say throwing stones in my glass house lol) and figure it the **** out. The team is **** poorly put together for sure. BUT that does not mean you don't go all in on defense. Last night I thought he was better than it often looked. Giannis is a hard cover for anyone and the times EMbiid got scored on were simply good ass moves. Tip your cap and keep it moving. I liked how engaged he seemed on that end, directing traffic and telling dudes where to be...BUT there are still too many times in which he just lags and it kills us. He has to be better. It sucks that he has to sit on the perimeter...so then become a better shooter then. Get in better shape because its obvious being in the paint all the time is not going to happen, so lose weight and become more agile. I get on Ben all the time BUT in fairness, Embiid also has stagnated a ton offensively. He got by on foul baiting, which just like Ben's fast break all day system, is just not a consistent source of offense. i have said it forever but he's not going to be Shaq. He need to pattern his game around Tim Duncan, and that would also extend his career. Don't listen to the boomers and their "you are big..so get in the paint and thats it". He will need to diversify his game...that way when the FO puts a **** ass team around him, he will be able to find a way to put in work regardless.

Doubt we get a chance to see that tho. The writing is on the wall. EMbiid is going to be the one shipped out. The media is lasering in on him and ignoring Ben. The NBA is fine with the death of the center. So the FO will choose Ben over Embiid and then we will have 5 years of hoping he starts shooting, then he will leave for LA.

Yeah the plan has always been to get rid of Embiid and build around Simmons, evil Silver wants to get rid of bigman centers that like to post up, his plan is to promote guard-like players, Simmons is one.

Both Biid and Ben are not THAT good of players to build a team around. But between Ben and Biid, Ben needs more help because he has more flaws to his game.

If you neglect Ben, like how we did in the last two seasons, then you’ll end up playing 4v5 on those crucial playoff matches.

While I pray that you can have acceptance that Ben will never shoot. Just think about it.. let’s say we have JJ and Jimmy. Biid is playing well.. Jimmy is the second option. JJ is the third leading scorer. What’s left with Ben? A 6’10 player who’s role is to bring down the ball and go to the corner to shoot corner 3s at below league average?

Right now, the reason why we’re looking like 4v5 is because of Biid. Not because of the roster, but it’s either because of his health or his ego.

The way I see it, in the offseason, we should trade some picks and Josh Rich for a guy to make Biid happy. Someone like CJ McCollum. But who knows.. maybe Burks, Milton or Shayok can play that role.

Now that KAT wont be on the market, is there really any player worth trading Embiid for? I feel like the FO’s plan is to build around Simmons but I don’t see any obvious packages for Embiid.

he should just funnel his energy on defense instead.

Brett should also just limit his minutes and increase it gradually. We have done it before.

Oh.. only during colangelo’s time.

Colangelo was trying to discipline Biid to not let him be what he is right now.

Why does it have to be a center? We should be trying to get away from another big, especially if Al is untradeable (which seems very likely)

Doesn’t have to be a big, but KAT was the best possible piece IMO. He just happens to be a center.
