If Wiggins is to get move again in a few months, who's going to take on his contract?

Also with Wiggins on the team, he would make for a rich man's Harrison Barnes and could improve his game as he will be on a better team starting next season.

If he stays with them, I'm so interested to see if they can help him reach that next level. Or just make him motivated. But yeah, Harrison Barnes is probably a great comp.

If he gets moved... I don't think it will be a problem. I don't think they'll struggle finding teams willing to give good value for a 24 year old who averages 24ppg. I would rather the Magic pay him that money than Vuc the same money. If Warriors were open to a Vuc/Wiggins swap we should pounce on that.

Before the Magic is to get a player of Wiggins caliber, the Magic need to acquire a player with alpha tendencies and strong skills sets who the team can rally behind and trust as the A-1 option. Who is that player is the big question.

This team has been riding on the complimentary players train long enough. It's time for some upgrades.

What is there to grade?
We could have traded 2nd for Robinson or Burks ourselves instead we just waited so we could pick up a leftover from Phila plate.
It’s disgusting.

The Magic has a very soft schedule to close out the season.

Absolutely! I wouldn't plan to build around Wiggins unless he took a big step. But I think he's more likely to be a piece for one of those bigger pieces. But maybe he's destined to become Harrison Barnes? Who knows.

What you just stated was the intention of my post. Despite sbnation's claim that they graded "every" move, they didn't find ours worth mentioning or maybe worse...didn't notice.

From The Ringer (grading every team’s trade deadline). It Captures Magic fan’s feelings very well IMO

Orlando Magic
In: James Ennis

Out: 2020 second-round pick (via Los Angeles Lakers)

The Magic are hard to root for. They’ve done a wonderful job resuscitating Markelle Fultz’s career, and losing Jonathan Isaac was a major blow to early-game League Pass viewers. But Orlando misusing and refusing to trade Aaron Gordon is one of the league’s most frustrating subplots. The Magic’s willingness to run back last season’s mediocre team when presented with the chance to do something different in the offseason does not help matters. If the ceiling is stealing a playoff win or two in the first round, it’s time to tear down the house. But, ya know, enjoy James Ennis.

Once again management has made us the laughing stock of the league.

I'm really sorry for the negativity guys, but I really though we would be doing something this season. Then again, I've been thinking that every season so maybe that says something about me.

I seriously can't believe No.10 is still here after the deadline. It really is something and shows the complete incompetence of this FO to not get rid of that bum and get something for him. Now we have to hear how we HAVE to re-sign him for some bs reason that doesn't matter. No.10 leaving is addition by subtraction.

This is the non homer take of Orlando’s situation.

Of course The Ringer nails it perfectly with this grade. The Magic have a joke of a roster. They need to tear it down.

Still not sure how Gordon wasn't traded. I guess I can infer his value is approx. bupkis.
