Gallo wouldn’t even meet the heat weight requirements. Guy is chubby/flabby. We don’t play that ish. Plays no defense. No reason to lose sleep over this guy. Reports that he wants 30mil per year too :nonono: hard pass

And Chowda.....I have a feeling is going to be our starting PF, Bam moves to the 5.

Not sure I like that much, but again, Leanord too many games he does absolutely nothing. Takes more being a starting Center than hitting the occasional WIDE open 3.

But yea Chowda def gonna be a key player for us. And I don’t even think he is all that good lol so we will see how that turns out

The $7.5M trade exception we created as part of this deal will be used to acquire Tristan Thompson. We don't want Tristan to join Boston.

He’d probably have a starting job in Boston though, unless he just prefers Miami because it his kind of place

TPE's can't be used in free agency.

NBA Buyout Market (however, things have changed and you could be right).

Tristan Thompson will go to the team that pays the most ($7.5M trade exception).

Believe it or not, this is good news for us. Any buyout for Gorgui Dieng?

This is what I want to see. Coming into the season the consensus was kinda that everyone in the East had to go big to match up with Philly but the reality of the season is that Philly is likely gonna have to make some adjustments to space the floor better i.e. go smaller. I think Crowder can hold his own defensively with the Horford and Ibakas of the East -- PFs who are basically relegated to spotting up at the 3pt line

Milwaukee presents a different challenge which boils down to who Spo wants to use on Giannis. Might have to start Bam/Leonard in that matchup since BroLo still has a post game, and then go small to use Iggy and/or DJJ on Giannis for stretches

Hope everyone is considering the value of what Iggy provides off the floor. With guys like DJJ, KZ, Bam and even Silva, he's going to provide incredible mentorship particularly on the defensive end. Jimmy himself mentioned there's a lot he feels he could learn from him.

Let's hope he has some gas left in the tank, but to have a guy like that openly mentioning that he looks forward to working with our young core for the next couple seasons and pointing out Bam.. that's something I think everyone from FO to roster is genuinely excited about.

I have a feeling I'm gonna like Crowder the most out of these three. Listening to him talk and seeing him play, I see Heat.

Iguadala, I won't lie, I saw that interview someone posted and all he talked about seemed to be his brand and wanting to be a case study in journals on how to market yourself or whatever that crap was. Didn't seem excited, wasn't about winning or about the team - I don't know his head seemed pretty far up his ass. Didn't scream Heat to me. He'll need to earn his stripes here with me. Solomon Hill meh, I have no thoughts on I took him as filler, hope he has something. Spo noted him for D and yet he shoots 39% on three so hopefully there is something there

Iggy is easily one of the most aesthetically/athletically pleasing players the league has ever seen. Jordan, Pippen, Vince, Kobe, Wade (while healthy), LeBron, Kawhi, Kaminsky, I mean there aren't many quite like him.

Great genetics and discipline to stay in top notch shape for the majority of their careers.

I won't read too much into Iggy's interviews (I haven't really seen the introduction video, only first 8 seconds and thought he could use a bigger shirt).

He's always kinda aloof, smartypants, hipster-ish in interviews. But when he suits up he can and usually does ball.

I still think he's by far the best acquisition of the three. Use him wisely and we'll leap benefits imo
