Thompson or nothing. Or Joakim Noah just because I liked his Florida team. And the guy to cut would be poirer or green. Wish we couldo cut rj again though lol

1) might not be bought out at all, and if he is bought out...

2) would be the subject of fierce competition to be signed.

Evan Turner fits neither of those criteria.

I'd assume he was hinting at Tristan Thompson or Marvin Williams. Tristan is a better fit, but Marvin would give the Celtics three guys named Williams, and that's hard to resist.

Lol, whats Ainge going to say? ‘The guy I want is definitely getting bought out and will be in low demand’?

Cassell, Finley, Murphy, Marbury were bad and I am sure I am missing a few more guys as well.

Murphy was terrible, and Finley didn't have a whole lot left, but both Cassell and Marbury were completely underutilized by Doc, especially Marbury.

Cassell was pretty bad and Doc buried House on the bench after the signing. Once doc figured out his that was a bad move and put House back in the rotation the team was better.

Marbury was a weird one. He sat out half the season and
It showed. He never really played well when he was in.

Langford is going to be a problem in this league. He actually plays terrific D. Has a bounce and a first step, was a big-time recruit out of high school.

We stole that kid at No. 13.

We need something, that’s for damn sure.

Team is thin as hell.

very premature.

He will probably top out as a top 8 or 9 player on a championship team imo. He is out of position alot.

Thompson Williams or bust but it won’t happen. All set on Evan Turner

I don't think Marvin Williams is that good, I'm fine passing on him.

If Danny wants him I think it will get done. Not sure Danny wants him.

He replaces Green? That sucks for Green.

39% from 3 on spot ups, good defender, good size, and an awesome locker room guy. Nothing amazing, but better than Semi/Javonte for sure.

Of course it is premature.

But i am looking at talent. Not positioning. Kid looks like a future 20 ppg scorer with good D.

Marvin Williams would be great. Just need someone who will take the Semi minutes in the playoffs. Which he's fine to do. Probably better than Bertans in the playoffs too.

The question is... Will Marvin Williams reunite with old friend Kemba in Boston? Or will he be lured by the fetid smell of the Lakers (who apparently are in the market for a PF)?

I was excited that he got to 13 and you can tell ainge wasn't expecting it. Once dude gets 10 to 15 + constant minutes he will shine. Also having smart and brown to practice against is really good to have. However, I immediately thought he was trade bait. But overall I think he is going to be solid.

Marvin Williams is much more interesting for this Celtics team than Tristan Thompson in my opinion. Fits the Celtics style of play better.

Something to keep an eye on: if the Celtics sign Marvin Williams, they will likely become the first team to ever field a frontcourt solely composed by players with the same last name.

Hah! So my buyout binky might actually come true?? Kemba must've already recruited him. Say goodbye to Green.

Would like to have Marvin Williams on nights like this. I don’t think I want to worry about playing him when we’re healthy.
