I'm not impressed with this Jazz team. The 2 LA teams are the only 2 teams in the west that are better than the Blazers. I know our record sucks, but Blazers can beat any team besides the 2 LA teams in a 7 game series.

Well, par for the course reffing tonight. I counted 5 missed calls that you could easily see in real time, and that missed goal tend could have decided the game. I'm really not sure how they could have not seen that. Both teams laid it out there tonight, shame that a great game comes down to a missed call. They'll get fined.

What an intense game!

Such garbage. Absolutely absurd. Really proud of the way we competed.

I dont dislike utah but the refs changed the game. I’m impressed with portlands play considering. Carmelo looked like he was too tired which is understandable

Refs on a back-to-back.

I feel like O'Neale intentionally put himself in position to injure Ant.

A lot to complain about with the game, but Royce is a great guy and I don't think he'd do that. It was a bad play, though, for sure.

Honestly, I blame Ariza most for this loss. His needless temper cost the team dearly tonight. I knew he was a bit of a punk, but I had hoped he got past that.

Not great that he got tossed tonight but this team needs more of that attitude

Yeah i think it's very rare that intentional injuries happen. i think he was playing to how the game was being called.

And I'm impressed with the respectfulness of the utah fan commenting. It reminds me of how we got the opposite in the Denver playoff series.

Toughness is one thing. Edginess and not backing down? Fine. But physically confronting a ref on a call that wasn’t even bad when you are one of 8 healthy players and have one of the biggest roles among those 8 is reckless.

Denver probably is too. With playoff experience under there belt they could be better than us too, Though, if we are fully healthy it would be a battle again. Utah I agree, though. They dont look impressive at all.

Just finished watching the game. All I can say is...

WTF?

Those ref's should be fired. Not just for the ridiculous no goal tend call, but for the entire game. I remember complaining about the old time ref's. I would actually like to see them come back because the officiating the last couple of years has been amazingly poor.

Weird for sure. How is that not a foul on O'Neal though? I understand Simons is moving to the side, but he goes under the defenceless player. That seems like a foul, if not a flagrant 1

I wasn't very impressed with denver last year. Portland had a one armed center with a reputation for bad defense and they won against a team with supposedly one of the best centers in the league. But its certainly possible denver this year is better. And yeah Portland needs health before i am thinking they win a playoff series this season.

Utah should be embarrassed after that game. They play a tram that is horribly depleted, on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, and it took a no-called goaltend to win the game.
