It was best Diallo game with this shirt.

Guy is a fighter and has talent. Happy to see him getting better in the comprehension of defensive systems.
Comprehension of offensive systems still work in progress I guess but he looked great anyway.

He was dominat both paints towered into his colossal, gigantic and titanic 6 foot 6 inches.

And dont give me that b.s well the Rockets are exhausted they just played last night. So what so are the Suns who played a day earlier. Oh 24 hours makes such a HUGE difference. This are professionals I don't believe in exhaustion unless you play full 82 games and 45+ min a game.

You’ve obviously never played sports. Nobody gets exhausted unless you play every game and every minute of every game??? Please don’t comment on anything sports related again

Oh, why dont you hush with that bullchit. I've played in hundred of thousands pick up games outdoors and in doors at LA Fitness. Been a fan of this team since early 2000 so spare me that crappy speech on " never commenting again". I have no idea who you even are and 99.99999% of this board doesn't either. I say my opinion and you get your pantsies twisted in a bunch. Relax guy and enjoy the season. Cheers!

The game was very fun to watch, and that first quarter was ridiculous. Everyone was on fire and our defense was actually pretty good (yes, no Westbrook and I'm sure the Rockets were tired, but still, I thought we played well).

Bridges - he is for sure my favorite player now. I HATE watching Harden play basketball, but I LOVE watching how Mikal guards him. It looks like he lives to guard the guy. I know Harden had 32 in only three quarters, but that will happen no matter what. But seeing how many shots Mikal takes away from Harden (making him pass out at the last second) is amazing. Mikal is probably the one guy I never get mad at lol

Booker - great overall game, I thought. He got a little hero-bally at the end of the third, which I thought was a little early to start running out the clock, but whatever. He also still can't throw a lob pass to save his life.

Kelly - gotta love this guy. When he hits 7-9 from three, he's a true star.

Diallo - the best big tonight. Easily. Played really well and i thought the game suited him seeing as the rockets didn't have a true big. Diallo is quick and long and athletic enough to play D against them and he seemed level headed enough to play offense in the post against a smaller defender. Missed some passes from Book, but i imagine they don't play together that often

Ayton - Frustrating player for sure. I get that he is talented and that he is young and all that, but man, Harden freaking OWNED him in the post. Ayton just could not score. His defense around the rim was pretty good, but the fact he only had 6 rebounds is astounding. He still jogs up the court, can't hold his post position, and struggles to protect the ball down low. He has all the skill in the world to dominate in a game like this, and I know that we shot a billion threes so we didn't really need him, but when we did try to go to him, it was slightly pathetic on his part. He does not yet deserve anything related to "BullySZN" or whatever the heck he likes to say. Learn to be aggressive and learn to use your strength and height, Ayton.

Rubio - eh. I honestly thought we looked better with Ellie running point. In a game like this, he didn't need to score and that is okay. He is still very smart yet still makes funny decisions sometimes.

Ellie - played well in my opinion. Maybe it is weird to say, but i noticed him less than Rubio in that i think he got out of the way a bit more, allowing Booker and Kelly to run the show offensively.

Cam - oh boy. hard to watch him miss all of his threes, but hopefully his shot comes back tonight.

Carter - hustled as always. he seems to know his job. made a pretty sick and-one layup near the end of the game.

Saric - it literally took me 3 quarters to realize he wasn't playing. Oops. This might have been an interesting game for him as I think he could have used his size against the Rockets at least on offense.

Baynes - sucks that he is out, but i am not sure this would have been a fun game for him to play. He would have had to chase a guard around on defense and i'm not sure that would have gone well. He definitely would have owned the post on offense though.

Harden - the most boring player in history to watch. Dribble. dribble. dirbble through legs. shake shoulders. pause. fake. shoot. snooze.

I am curious about what we saw yesterday.

Were his heavy minutes just an adjustment against Beardteam hobbit-ball?
Or are we supposed to expect him keeping that role (at least 'til Tormund and/or Frarìo's recovery)?

Today against Nuggets BigBall (they are pretty heavy at C and PF both starters and bench) we can check it out.

If Diallo got regular minutes he would blend better and better.

Same could be said about any other player.

In my opinion, he's not making far more positional or reading mistakes than DeAndre so we could agree he deserves more minutes since we're so short handed at the paint with Tormund and both Fraríos out.

But I can understand Monty... DA puts a lot of points more than Diallo and his size helps him to make up for his mistakes at least when he's close enough to the rim.

Let's see how things develope; as from now, I guess Monty Phyton will play him decent minutes against small lineups but if size is needed, he will just play the bare minimum to give DeAndre some rest.

Arguable but not blatantly wrong.
