He made a joke about trying to catch Reinsdorf sleeping with a minor so we can boot him. A moderator told him that pedophilia isn't a good thing to joke about. He then responded to that post by making another one.

I then gave him official warning for that post since the first "knock it off" post didn't stick. I also then told him that his next issue, regardless of how small would result in permanent banning (expect that momentarily), because he's had 16 prior warnings and two suspensions.

Look at the guys tweet. 2 minutes to go in a 20 point blowout, no one was watching that garbage on the court.

Also, everybody was yelling at them to leave the guy alone... "leave him alone"... "let him be"... the usher was getting booed for throwing the guy out. lol.

First, I think it's ridiculous that they booted him for the jersey if that's the case.

Second, I think it's clear the people chanting and filming were his buddies. They were filming before security showed up and the guy got the clip of the video for twitter, so obviously the guy filming knew him. That means the chants were probably irrelevant and just his friends.

Third, there's a fair chance that he was trying to get booted to make publicity give that they were filming prior to security showing up.

It's at least a little bit suspicious to me but it's a really bad look either way.

That's not what freedom of speech means though. Freedom of speech doesn't give you freedom to say whatever you want, wherever you want. On someone else's property they can still set guidelines for behavior and are within their rights to do so.

Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s).

I can see how the ushers would view the jersey as being derogatory towards Forman and Paxson.

You don't get kicked out on a first offense for holding up or wearing something like that up. You get kicked out for being a jackass and doing it again after you've been told not to do it or you chose not to cover it up.

You've described two things.

1: Being a jackass and not stopping after being told.
2: Wearing a shirt they don't like and not covering it up after being told.

I agree you should be kicked out for the first, but not for the second. Hard to tell with this example which it was, but there are now multiple reported stories of it happening which implies that maybe it is the second.

You're in their house and to abide by their rules. Anything deemed non-family friendly or incitable is at not permitted as the last thing they want to do is turn the narrative into how it's not appropriate for all ages.

I’d like to see longer footage, that likely exists. Or hear from fans sitting around this guy all game. Was he “86’d” for what he presents as the reason, or was more going on well before that?

Not that the org and front office doesn’t deserve all the criticism they receive, and more.... but this just screams of someone posting something that’s been edited to elicit the reaction they desire.

For sure, but to bring up Sherdog out of all message boards is absurd. It's a few levels lower and there's been very little moderation from what I remember. RealGM has been moderated pretty well, even on the general board. But we've always known it's pointless to go on the GB.

The only good board on Sherdog is/was the BJJ forum, everything else is/was a cesspool.

Sometimes these things are very misleading and we don’t know the entirety of the conduct leading to getting tossed.

But if in fact it’s merely the wearing of the jersey, I’m with Doug on this. It’s not at all a reasonable expulsion. It’s not indecent by any generally accepted societal definition, nor is it inherently disruptive to other customers.
