This the dude everybody was drooling over? Uhm ok

i mean guys can have bad games. did you see the previous game vs miami where he scored 23 pts and 6 assists (and hit 6 3's)?

Supposedly better than Kuzma? Yikes

this team needs more guys that can shoot and play defense. Not more guys that take high volume shots and play zero defense.

Looks like Shamet got lit up by the TWolves guards. He's definitely overrated even as a defender. On good defensively structured teams he's ok but on the Knicks he's getting exposed. Solid role player but nothing special

oh i don't disagree hes a role player

but a cheap one that you control for 3 years. Rather than someone you would have had to make a decision to pay next year.

Taking a risk on someone with a higher ceiling is better for a team like the Knicks than a cost controlled role player.

disagree, we aren't in the business of paying role players. We aren't in the position to be dropping 15 million or whatever kuzma would make on the open market before we find our stars. You can be riddled with large money for a mediocre player.

Stars? Kuzma even at 15 mil per year gives you a movable asset to get that star especially if he has a bigger role and shows productivity like he did before Lebron and AD arrived. No stars are signing in free agency, we will have to assemble assets to trade for one.

kuzma making 15-20 million is the same "asset" as Julius Randle is

meaning they aren't one.

a cheap shooter under basketball a league minimum contract is an asset.

They play nothing alike so the comparison makes no sense

First Oubre now Beasley. I swear it hurts that we don’t go after these players. Another one scratched off my list, Timberwolves not letting him go SMH.

Wiseman and FVV would be a good offseason for me.

he pretty much looks like this now. the highlights are mostly scoring in transition. that's the only time he looks good. in the half court it's another story.

Spot on, only diff is that Knox can get away with being out of control driving against HS players but the NBA you look like a bust

We're just hopeless. I've tried to make the noise for Beasley around here, but management can't read good and can't do other stuff good too

We have many players the Nuggets could've used.
