I wouldn't call 13 points, 12 boards, 7 assists and 3 blocks struggling. He did miss some shots inside, but so did everybody else. Bam is solid almost every night now. Can't complain about him. Nunn is a rook and it showed tonight. He just could not get it going. We needed 20+ from him and didn't get it. Silva looked a bit lost too often tonight as well. Not happy with KO's play either. Somehow we got to stop this barrage of threes scored against us. 62 threes in the last 3 games is crazy.

I don’t see the barrage of 3s against us stopping at all. Team’s are circling the calendar to play us. Top 4 in the East lol.
Good teams have answers to these type of games, pretenders do not. I’m not saying the Heat are pretenders but we are not playing like a top 4 team with that inconsistent road record.

Should be our closing lineup

Herro at the 3? No bueno

Or switch him and butler doesn't matter but he needs to always be closing a game

We need defenders around Herro because he’s always getting torched, but he’s so good in the 4th smh

Arguably the best game I think I’ve seen Jae Crowder play. Although I’m probably forgetting a few times he torched us as a Celtic.

Frustrating L though. Got dicked hard by the NBA’s foul review at the end of the third that cost us. When we needed a bucket down the stretch, we just didn’t have Jimmy and they had Dame. That’s the difference in the NBA sometimes.

Need to find a W from somewhere very soon.

It is strange why they arent a playoff team.

They should be competing with Jazz etc. They have the talent but too many dead ends.

The Blazers are missing:

Nurkic
Collins
Little
Simons
Hood
Skal (before he was traded)

I think their struggles have a lot to do with missing like 3/5ths of the starting lineup for nearly the whole year, and then missing a bunch of rotation players behind them. Guys like Simons, Little, and Trent weren't ready at the start of the year. They've slowly been rounding into NBA rotation players as the year has gone on.

We took 49 3s in a game. That’s half our shots attempted. Just checked for fun and the Rockets took less 3s than us against the Jazz.

Nunn and KO sucked ass. Duncan always sucks.

Crowder should start next to Bam

Duncan always sucks? I think he's one of the more important players the first 3 quarters(which is why I believe Iguodala will be important in limited minutes, to take Robinson's place at the end of games), his offense makes it so much easier on the team.

I look at last night and see...
Robinson ORTG 118 DRTG 115 which is fine(not great). (For the season ORTG 123, DRTG 112 which is is great)

Why the game was lost was because of 1 Heat player and 2 Trailblazers

Nunn ORTG 65 DRTG 121 <- He scored 9 points on 18 FGA.

Ariza ORTG 183 DRTG 106 <- 21 points on 10 FGA.
Trent ORTG 183 DRTG 103 <- 22 points on 11 FGA.

On Crowder is going to be coming off the bench and probably end games and here's 2 reasons why...
1. Leonard defends the centers so Bam doesn't have to so he doesn't get into early foul trouble.
2. The starters have been fine when healthy, the issue has been the defense with the backups.

Spoelstra has done a great job of getting the most out of one way players. D.Robinson is at least playable with enough defense around him which he has with the starters, he isn't playable off the bench because he can't be hidden at all defensively. Leonard spreads the court but is also bad defensively and needs to be paired up with a defensive big(which is usually your center). There are probably better combinations to play but that doesn't mean it makes the team better because it really would stress the holes the bench players have.

I have a feeling we'll see way more Crowder than Iguodala this season. Things will be fine after All-Star break barring some lengthy injury.

The deal was talked about as a trade for Iguodala, but Crowder's the bigger acquisition.

Crowder is such a glue guy though. One of those versatile dudes who you can plug in on any team.
