most of the time they're business men end of the day and you don't reach that level of success in business without taking gambles. When the payoff is a Giannis type super lotto hit compared to a Brogdon type steady 9-5 you take that shot. That mindset will always exist.
as it should, depending on how high you're picking. if you're picking high a best case scenario of a Malcolm Brogdon doesn't really move the needle for u...the only thing that really moves the needle is getting that star.
that's the key to this whole logic right there. near the top you obviously swing for the fences. the deeper in the draft you get if your situation is still dire at what point do you weigh ready against potential is where the conversation gets interesting.
