Do whatever it takes to get Embiid to Miami to team up with Butler, sprinkle in some 3pt shooting and you have a finals team.

Send Bam, expiring KO and Nunn to Philly for Embiid.

Could then try and go all in for Beal with Herro as the main piece, along with others.

Butler, Beal and Embiid would be title favourites with the right pieces around them.

I've been saying this since Butler got traded, Embiid really bonded with him. Not sure what other somewhat young players Butler has strong ties with to recruit.

Also, people act like players only talk through social media, these guys probably talk a lot over the phone and in-person like at the Super Bowl recently!

I will say, I think Philly has already started building around Simmons by bringing Horford with big money in while already having Harris(who needs to be the stretch 4) who they gave a ton of money too also.

He's also an incredible 2-way player who can dominate either side of the court. I can get not liking his personality but to call him a bum seems to indicate a lot of bias towards him.

I think last year Embiid and Butler proved they were good enough together to be a contender by taking the eventual champs to a last-second shot in a game 7. Give them a better coach that will utilize them better and the sky's the limit for those 2. I'm not sure Philly would ever trade Embiid to Miami, Brand can't chance to see the 2 guys he had be more successful then the 76ers could have easily been.

Try to keep Hero and I'm good. Embid in our system would kill it.

Maybe I can see it at next years trade deadline. But as of this offseason we won't even have the assets to match salary for Embiid? The total salary of Olynyk (13.6mil), Bam (5.1mil), Herro (3.8mil), Nunn (1.6mil), DRob (1.6mil) Okpala (1.5mil) Silva (1.5mil) comes to 28.7mil and Embiid's 2020-2029 salary is 29.5mil.

I also doubt theres a trade for Embiid that doesn't include Herro and DRobinson, with Simmons as their star player they will be looking for shooting only.

Seems Embiid replied.
If anything, this should be a nice little story to follow... for months!

Would low key love to take Embiid from Philly just to spite their fans one more time though.

Not a huge Embiid guy, but if he's our path to Freak in 2021 then everyone's on the table except Jimmy

Is there any conceivable way to trade for Embiid while also still being a player in the Freak sweepstakes?

Embiid is not worth getting rid of Bam

Call out his injuries if you must, but NO PART of his game screams "bum" in any way. He's an INCREDIBLE basketball player on both sides of the court. Elite 2 way dominant big. He's taken games over with both his offense and defense.

I love Bam and I'm comfortable with him as a big piece on a title contender going forward, but he's got nothing on Embiid and likely never will. They're not even close.

Return to Miami Heat
