I'd makes offers in free agency on Boucher and Wood. Perhaps others if can't get those.

Thunder don't have cap space.

Exceptions. Sign n trade. Cap clearing moves.

Those 2 probably get under $10 mil / yr. Perhaps well under.

Pretty sure they have $10 mil+ just by letting Gallo, Diallo/Nader and Roberson walk

I would definitely resign Noel to a 1+1 and find a deal for Adams to the Spurs, Celtics or other team in the offseason

Paul may attract no offers, though Pistons and Knicks might think about it if they can't do anything else notable. Mentoring.

Knicks would probably wait 2021 free agency. Can see them trading for a star before that but CP3 contract is too big :(

CP3 for Blake and Kennard sounds like a fair trade (not that good for us but somehow CP3 is underrated right now). But I think the Pistons are going full rebuild so not happening.

But if that trade with Pistons included a first and getting Paul precipitated a trade of Rose for another pick then Pistons rebuild with 2 more firsts, Paul leading and more minutes for young bigs. I'd take that over current as Pistons. Not seeking Griffin, perhaps could re-route with a pick.

Knicks could do something similar.

These seem like the more likely options if they move Paul. But they probably won't and it is ok, considering, if they don't.

Another forward in free agency they probably could afford- Rondae Hollis - Jefferson.

He is Roberson Jr but can actually make free throws and the occasional midrange

The Thunder would be around $10 million under the cap if they renounce the rights to their free agents. But, I would think that they will sign Fort to a NBA contract and I would expect the Thunder to make an offer to Noel. I don't see them renouncing their rights to Gallo. So if the Thunder wanted to act like a team with cap space they would have to wait for Gallo to sign into someones space. If the Thunder act as an under the cap team they would lose their exceptions.

I would expect the Thunder to act as an over the cap team this off season. I doubt they try to add a free agent this off season, unless its someone they really like.

Noel is a free agent and he could command anywhere between the minimum and the non-tax payers mid level that is about $10 million. I would not be surprised if he was offered a starting job along with that $10 million a year contract.

I don't think the Thunder are in a hurry to deal CP3. They will let CP find a team he is willing to be traded to, then the Thunder can negotiate a trade. I could see the Thunder running it back by resigning Gallo and Noel. Especially if Gallo is having a hard time finding a deal that works for both him and the Team (if he needs a S&T). The Thunder could re-sign him to a 2 year deal worth about $20 million a season, which would put his contract on the same timeline as CP3. Plus, it would let the Thunder still get something for him after teams miss out on the Giannis sweepstakes.

Mikal Bridges would be a great pick up but the Suns would mak3 a major mistake to trade him period or for anything Thunder would offer. Maybe you could bamboozle them in a sign n trade for Gallinari.

Call Nets and ask about Kurucs. They probably refuse to engage. Maybe consider Musa if the price is modest.

So many bad prospects are available...and we probably need to overpay to get him.

We have so many picks that I prefer Presti to gamble by giving up 3 FRP on a very good young prospect (if one of them becomes available) than trading small assets to get some ''ok'' young players.

Reading on the bulls forum a lot of their fans attribute Lauri Markkanen’s struggles to Jim Boylen changing his style of play. Basically their offense has eliminated any variety of shot selection and creation.

I doubt a trade would be accepted by their fans on the trade board but I could see GarPax making a trade for someone like Schroder. Bulls are in need of a pg and although Schroder probably isn’t the facilitator their fans want, I could see something based around that and taking back Felicio’s deal. Throw in Denver’s pick if needed. If Dennis finishes the season strong, I think his value around the league will be much higher than it is in the realgm world. I don’t see Sam throwing multiple picks at Markkanen if he isn’t sending out bad salary. Probably more like Bulls fire Boylen than trade Markkanen but if I were a Bulls fan, their FO would have me nervous.

Schroeder + Denver 1st for Felicio and Markkanen sounds like fair value. Not sure Chicago would be so interested in getting Schroeder though (small upgrade over Sato based on this season only).
