I know he's a JR, but he's one of those late bloomers that was a 6''5" wing prospect coming out of high school.

I know DePaul has not had avery difficult schedule, but he is leading them to a solid record.

He's averaging 16, 11, 2, 1.9, 3.2. He also ranks #16 overall in both BPM and WS, and #9 in defensive rating. And while he's shooting only 29% from 3 this year, he shot over over 40% last year (both years with limited attepts).

Either way he's an 80% FT shooter and has shown potential in his outside game. I see him as a good complement to Bam if he can develop his shot.

Most mock drafts have had him as an early second rounder until recently. Even though I've noticed him moving up on some boards.

Anyone with more insight got any thoughts on him.

I like his activity level. He doesn't feel like a post player much to me. That bit of a hitch in his shot is pretty unnatural, though he does shoot it well. Not meant for quick, decisive shot making. He has a wing's frame. Don't see him handling the post pressure very well, though he will affect shots with his long wingspan. He could go anywhere in this draft really.

Do not like this draft lottery at all. Lamelo Ball being mocked top 3? Hell to the no. Scary AF. I watch Edwards and I see flashes, but top pick potential? Dunno bout that. Jaden McDaniels? Oh man... I'm actually more excited about the guys getting mocked in the twenties than in the top ten.

Makur is interesting

Idk, I don't see another prospect that seems to have the tangibles that Edwards has. Have a hard time drafting anyone else ahead of him rn

Sure, sure. I was thinking in more of a general context. He doesn't feel like a standout type, sure thing. He feels like a guy you could draft 7th in another draft and feel pretty good about your investment.

I'm looking at tankathon's mock right now, and the only guy I really like in the top ten is Haliburton.

From 11 to 20, I like Nico and Reed as role players.

Then you get into the 20s, and it's like, "Damn! Now we're talking!" I'll take Stewart, Maledon, Carey, Aleksej, etc.

Then the 2nd round hits and I'm liking Nesmith (Rafly speaks da troof), Oturu, Hagans, Makur, etc.

I’m really liking a lot of guys in the later parts of the draft. Okuru, Nesmith, Wieskamp, Jared Butler(love this guy alott), Isaiah Joe, Elijah Hughes yo name a few. Y’all already know my liking of Nesmith but Jared Butler is tight up there with him.

A 7-foot PF that could replace Leonard. Largely considered a late first. He's actually a great shooter 10 feet from the basket and has range out to 3.

This mock draft thing was tougher than I thought. Reviewing depth charts, ignoring mock draft noise, and projecting players. Oof.

Nwora, Makur, Watford and Lewis are too high. You're also missing a bunch of great prospects like Tre Jones, Jahmi'us Ramsey, Isaiah Stewart, Devin Vassell, Patrick Williams(who I really like for the Heat).

Love me some Isaiah Joe. Fg% is a bit low but he’s not taking easy shots at all.

Prospects I like that I think have a good chance of being available when the Heat pick.

Guards:
Devon Dotson
Josh Green
Isaiah Joe
Aaron Nesmith

Forwards:
Saddiq Bey
Jordan Nwora
Patrick Williams
Spoiler:

Tyler Bey
Reggie Perry

Centers:
Jalen Smith

Don't like Tre Jones, Maxey and Maledon. Okoro is alright. Isaiah Joe, Patrick Williams and Saddiq Bey are my favorites.

I am interested in Josh Green and Reggie Perry the most from that list. Josh Green might have another level he can reach. Perry has a lot of Bamish tendencies.

If losing an extra 5 games or so might get us Josh Green, we need to pack in the load management

Yeah buddy. The regular season is a circus. Just stay true and bust ass in the playoffs. That's the only part of the season that matters.

Green is destined to be the guy that "smart" GMs draft. I'm excited to see what he'll do a few years down the line.

I don't like Green, he's not a good shooter and has major bust potential. Patrick Williams is a better fit and has good floor and potential. Led FSU in scoring today with 17 points on 7-14 shooting.

I haven't been watching admittedly, so I don't know the quality of the consensus guys in our range is, but I'm always down to take a gamble that guy that shows some flashes, like Green, can be more Jaylen Brown than _______
