Lakers, Clippers Have Interest In Tyler Johnson

The Phoenix Suns bought out Tyler Johnson after the trade deadline. Johnson was in the final season of a four-year, $50 million deal he signed with the Miami Heat. 

The Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers are expected to check in on Johnson once he clears waivers.

Both the Clippers and Lakers had interest in signing Darren Collison before he decided to remain retired.

I don't really see any FA or recently released players that are going to tip the scales for either team. Should they meet in the playoffs, I still favor the Clippers over the Lakers. I think their depth of role players will be too much for the Lake-show to withstand, even with LeBron and AD.

Clippers are just trying to stack players so the Lakers overpay or don't get them.. But Tyler Johnson maybe the Lakers could use him during the season but the clippers don't need him in any shape or form.. The clippers overpaid for Morris so now They have no picks for 6 years or tradr assests unless they offload PG13 i guess or Pay Bev or Lou Williams.. The need for Morris was non existent..
