I am not some IT diehard pining for the old days. I am a pragmatist that sees a need and a clear solution to fill fill that need. What's more we have already seen him in this System. There is no guess work. Can IT come in and get off 5-10 high percentage shots a game while keeping the ball moving?? Yes!

Serious question: Have you actually seen him play this year? That just not who he is anymore. He was struggling with their second unit in WAS. To paraphrase Pitino, "IT IS NOT COMING THROUGH THAT DOOR."

Of course I've seen him play this year and he is obviously not the same. WE DON'T NEED BOSTON IT! We need someone to come in and knock down shots under playoff pressure and to keep the ball moving!!

AND he would not be back next year. It would be a one shot deal for this PO run only, as Ainge would have an entire offseason and Draft to enhance the roster, plus our youngest guys will be a little more developed and experienced.

Is IT today as good as '08 Eddie House?? Could '08 eddie house help help our playoff run this year?? YES! & YES!! IT today is still much better than EH ever was!

We have a small 10-15 min role. 5-10 high% shots per game and keep the ball moving. IT's shooting in a couple of 5 min stretches will heavily outweigh any deficiencies from him on D.

We don't need what he was 5 years ago ...we need someone that can knock down shots, esp 3s and move the ball. IT doesn't have do dominate the ball to help us. We need him to KNOCK DOWN SHOTS, move the ball and maybe work to get a basket when the clock is winding down. We need for him to do this for 10-20mins max! We don't need him to run the show, we need for him to knock down shots under PO pressure ....41% this season from 3 plus PO experience, PO achievement (for us) all speak for itself!

But make no mistake, it is not sympathy or nastalgia that I an feeling. It is an overriding fear that scoring droughts and lack of experience WILL end our season early!

The player I would most like to see the team add to roster is Tremont Waters. He would impact much more than any of names out there right now. That might change if further buyouts occur. That said, I am not sure it is worth it to cut Poirier or Green and lose a year of control with Waters for minimal short term gain.

They ain’t cutting Poirer. Two-year deal there. They will deal this summer, work on buyout, or maybe even allow him to earn some minutes on team.

Poirer is kind of like Wannamker last year. Just barely plays, hard to gauge. Now look at Wannamker. He is a very good bench guard.

No he's not and its not really even that close. So Doc waived him for nothing. Don't you think that if he was a valuable scorer for a playoff team they would've just kept him? He's not coming back because he does not have the skills to make a difference on a playoff team anymore. I wish he did, but he's not just not the same player, he's a shell of that player.
