His on/off rtngs will show that he's an elite player that contributes on both sides of the court.

but underneath the stats and tape, you find a guy who can't make his teammates better on offense other than being used as a decoy spacer because he won't pass the ball to save his life.

underneath the stats on defense, you'll see that in isolation he's an average defender. his value is completely at the rim and being a help defender.

simply put, the guy is low iq basketball player. Put him in an environment where he needs to make a lot of decisions he sucks. Hasn't shown 1 bit of improvement in 4 years at any aspect of his game.

Lol, so you basically mention a couple of his flaws, and that's your argument why he actually sucks and analytics are lying?

Sure, he can't pass. But spacing is actually a big component on making your teammates better.

I don't have synergy anymore, but I'am pretty sure his ISO defense was always decent. This year it might be worse, because he lost a bit of a step, but again, even if its average, it doesn't diminish other defensive aspects hes good at.

Yeah, his bbiq isn't high. I've been saying it in the past. Hes just 7'3 dude who's very mobile for his size and has a great jump-shots. Thats it. He uses his physical tools to be a presence defensively. And all his offense is just shooting over people. But again, thats enough in current NBA to be an impactful winning player.

He does not have a great jump shot!

Just curious, are you from Latvia?

lol, I mean right now sure. But its silly to dismiss all his past performance and relay on 30 game sample size when he just got back from the injury. Or you really wanna argue he is not a great jump-shooter overall? What does he do well then? Nothing?

And yes I'am.

And out of nowhere Gary Harris is ass now. It makes me so sad. He was on the verge. On the verge, I tell you!

Gary Harris forgetting how to shoot is the quietest wacky store in the NBA. No injuries or age. Just forgot how to shoot.

His jumper is what it always is. He's been streaky since he got in the league. It doesn't make him awful, it's just a fact.

Another cap spike?

NBA's Next National TV Deals Could Double In Value
FEB 11, 2020 2:16 PM

The NBA's current national television contract pays $2.7 billion per year with ESPN and TNT.

The existing deal runs through the 24-25 season and could increase in value despite this season's drop in ratings.

“This season’s NBA ratings story is silly. It is a small sample size. This is a year-round league with year-round stories,” said sports media consultant Lee Berke of LHB Sports. “The next NBA media agreements will be a substantially evolved set of deals because of streaming. There will be an increasing range of media companies that want the NBA for the U.S. and worldwide.”

Burke expects the next television deal to roughly double in value.

Mavs have an overpaid 2nd option who should be a 3rd option at best, no assets, a bunch of mediocre role player who are probably overperforming and who do not fit Luka's timeline...

Dallas may have ruined Luka's prime. I just don't trust their management.

If ever they are going to trade anyone of their stars I think it would be Embiid.

But if the team continues to implode or get an early exit in the playoffs Brett Brown would be the first to go.

Return to New York Knicks
