Takeaways
-Gordon has not been clamoring for a trade and is happy in Orlando.
-The Magic see Isaac as the anchor of the frontcourt in the coming years, with Vucevic eventually giving way to Bamba at center. (my note: this would mean Vucevic presumably would get moved before the end of his contract).
-It’s hoped that Okeke becomes Isaac’s frontcourt partner when he is healthy.
-Phoenix figures to remain a potential target for a Gordon trade this summer.
-Potential summer swaps to look at...

Gordon to Brooklyn for Spencer Dinwiddie as the main return
Gordon to Denver with Gary Harris and a draft pick coming back

Not a suprise for those who pay attention to Weltman moves. Raising AG value is one of the most important things we have this season. Like both of this trades.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

So is management just on vacation.... or being smarter with their assets than others who have let things go for a penny on the dollar. lol. But yeah... let's keep the narrative of "they suck" going.

A strong finish will definitely help his value ... especially as his contract decreases the following year. Or he unlocks AG Super Saiyan and we can't let him go ... as he drains 3's... step-backs and looks like an amazing running mate for Isaac and bamba for the future. A man can dream, can't he? lol

If we legitimately believe in Bamba, then a deal around Vooch/Hield could make a lot of sense for both teams. I think AG could really develop in the right system and with the right coaching and if he's willing to be more physical instead of a perimeter threat, but he could definitely be had. It seems likely WeHam are finally ready to make a significant move or two.

I’m not trading Vuc for at least a year. Right now Bamba looks to be a very long term project. If I’m the Magic’s brass, I get on the phone with the guys who developed Dwight Howard, from year 1 he was averaging a double-double just by rebounding and getting a **** ton of put back layups. There’s no reason Bamba’s evolution can’t start there. Right now though, a team with Birch or Bamba starting would drown at the bottom of the league. A center doesn’t need to be a 20/10 guy, but he should at least command some respect from opposing defenses.

But I just can't

Im trying to convince myslef we traded for p>Ennis because we still owed Sixers from Fultz trade.
Sixers had to dump a player. We conveniently showed up to help offering a 2nd so they woudnt have to waive him and lose him for free.

semantics. that pick is #59 right now, so it is practically for free

I love how value of a pick and narration around it changes to suit a statement. When we get a pick it’s omg good job we are collecting assets when we trade it it’s meh it was nothing a free useless pick we can send them for free left and right as they are useless.Ofc values of picks changes with team success or lack of it but more often than not we all are pretty sure in what range that pick will end up.Like Lakers it was a sure they will not suck for long and that pick is going to be end of the draft one.

Magic traded Ennis for Lakers 2020 second round pick that will land between 57 and 60 spot.

This is a list of players that are drafted with that slot last couple of years:

2019:
Miye Oni
Dewan Hernandez
Vanja Marinković

2018
Tomas Welsh
George King
Kostas (Giannis brother)

2017
Ognjen Jaramaz
Jaron Blossomgame
Alpa Kaba

2016
Abder Nader
Isaiah Cousins
Tyron Wallace

There is pattern here. Over hal of them never played 1 min of NBA in their life and they won't.

This second round picks are definition of usless picks. Most teams pick guys that have no intention to come over on purpose OR they never offer them contract in first place.

I don't see the issue with the Ennis trade at all. We got a role player for a pick that will never see the floor, most likely.

He will contribute way more to this team than that 59th pick ever will. If he stinks, who cares? It was the least valuable asset we had.

I don't really care about the pick. It's a pointless addition though.

Ennis doesn't move the needle whatsoever. He had almost fallen out of the rotation for a team with a sh*t bench. His roster spot was about to disappear because Philadelphia brought in Burks and Robinson to replace him.

Why is Melvin Frazier on the roster? Clifford would rather plug in a journeyman that has been passed around the league for nothing than to give a prospect with a guaranteed contract any meaningful minutes.

It's pathetic how hard we are trying to get that 8th seed considering that every other team that is in play for it couldn't give a sh*t less about it.

Frazier isn't really prospect .He is soon to be 24 years old player that can't play in NBA.
It's pretty clear that he ,at practice is nowhere near as good as Iwundu (how sad really...) to sniff near his playing time.

Bulls and Wizards actually trying to win, they just suck more than us.

Wizards refused to trade Bertans while 29 other teams including contenders wanted him.
Beal in last 5 games plays 36 mpg, inlucind two 39 min games.

Bulls are draining 38 min a game from Lavine.

It's pathetic how hard we are trying to get that 8th seed considering that every other team that is in play for it couldn't give a sh*t less about it

So this is simply not true. They care, they just can't win games.

Clifford was one of the main guys who developed Howard...

I dont think any of our FO would do it. Collins is a great player tough. Right now he is better than Isaac, but thats propably gonna change.

Nope. Isaac and AG overlap already, Collins and AG is an even worse fit.

It would be the Spiderman meme in Magic jerseys.

Things is Isaac fits most teams better becouse he is much better defender. Collins is not a passer, and average 3 point shooter, he is not exactly modern offense player. If Isaac becomes better shooter its over, no one would choose Collins over him. We also have our young promising guard in Fultz, we wont create primary from post ups much longer.
