GT: Nets vs. Raptors- 2/12/20 7:30pm (Final Game before ASB)

We nearly beat them at home last time and we're coming off of solid victory versus a playoff team. It's time for the Nets to get over the hump and get some revenge against this team.

We'll need 40+ points from Spencer and Caris combined.

Jarrett Allen played poorly versus Toronto and DJ is taking his minutes late in game. I need to see some fire and aggression from him.

Joe Harris, Gary Temple, Prince and TLC really need to make their open looks.

Let's go into ASB with a W

The Raptors have had this team's number all season. Hopefully the team can come out with the right intensity and focus for all 48mins.

Raps by double digits. they are flat out better than us and the league hottest team. they will be looking to make a statement going into the ASB

We've been playing well. Hopefully we keep it up even if we lose.

Toronto is tough. I don't think we can beat them without Kyrie and KD but they're overdue for a bad night. Maybe we can get lucky. Would be huge if we can go 2-2 in this 4 game stretch.

We need to figure out a way to slow down Siakam and Ibaka (if he plays). If Siakam is getting easy layups in the post and in transition, Toronto is just too good on defense to beat.

we need to get in siakims face above the 3PT. once he gets going he is lanky and can get to the rim. get in his face and make him use 4 or 5 steps instead of 1 or 2 to get to the paint

Ugh, I might have to bail early on these Raps announcers. They're quippish, entertaining and energetic, yet they're still kinda firmly 'homer' for the most part.

So far it's been really interesting checking out the rest of the league's announcing crews. Places that you might think would have awful teams sometimes have some of the best, most interesting and impartial teams. But that also works the other way.

I'm looking forward to Kyrie's return.

All three lead guards tend to look for their shot first (not a fan of it, but it's who we are), yet Kyrie has that 'eyes in the back of his head' factor when he wants to exercise it.
