It’s easy to jump on the tank train at this point and get angry if we win, but then I remember how much youth we have on this roster and how much better it is if we watch them develop (even if it means our draft order goes up).

This win made me happy. Glad they were able to come back.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Monk and Bridges are blossoming before our eyes.

PJ and Bridges skillset just seems too similar to me. I think Bridges has to go this offseason. Only way it would work having both of them on the same team would be if we got Lamelo Ball.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

It's more "facepalming" than anything else.

Let me sum up last weeks wins : Minny, Cavs, Pistons..
I would be all right if some wins and good performances from the youngsters came against Boston, LA, Clippers, Denver etc.

But doing the favor to beat tanking teams while they are desperate to get a top pick is beyond dumb, there is no other way to say it. You just reward losers (and perennial losers like Minny, Cavs who are always - at least for me - trying to get the top picks) by gently winning such games. In the end no one will remember this game for Monk/Graham/Miles/PJ and you will have a front office that will NOT have the choice to pick the best prospect (unless they fix again the lottery bs).

We are talking about teams who HAVE all star (former) in their teams (even some of their players are in the 44 players list of Tokyo)

I'm not concerned about the lotto at all, that will all take care of itself. Every team below us except NYK and DET have a real possibility of leapfrogging us (Hawks/Cavs/Wolves all made trades to win a bit, GSW get Curry back), worst-case scenario we still have a 35% chance of getting in the top 4.

it is also a weak draft, maybe on the level of 2000 so if its the difference between drafting Stromile Swift and DerMarr Johnson I'd much rather our youngs experience some Ws

Who'd have thunk that Thing #2 would start a game before Thing #1??

Apart from Russell we are essentially playing a back to back of G League games.

NOISEEEEEEEE!!

Nice mid range step back J along the baseline by Tae to open the scoring. Mid range J's by him and slow deliberate offensive moves by Miles is what I'm hoping to see this game.

There's a nice slow, deliberate post up jump hook by Miles. So, far, so good with him and Tae - although the shot by Miles missed!!

Atta boy Biz!! Putting in work on the boards at the offensive end. Playing a strong game so far.

McDaniels 1st off the bench? Wow! So he's now moved past Bake in the depth chart as well? McDaniels just got WORKED on that Okogie drive.

It feels like we only have 8 active players. Can that be right? The starting 5 + Monk, McDaniels and Willy?

Biz with the SICK bounce pass out of the post up to the cutting Tae down the middle!!

Bismack "The Admiral" Biyombo!! He's out here killing it!

I miss Terry.

Did Williams leave McDaniels those corner 3's in his Hornets will?

Now McDaniels is tipping in half time buzzer beating shots? No wonder he's moved ahead of Bake in the rotation!!

Can't work out if we are playing better to start the 2nd half, or if the Wolves have just come out really sloppy. Maybe a little of both?

Tae's ability to put a bounce pass on point to a moving player is a thing of beauty. That leading bounce pass to the curling Thing #2 down the middle for the jam was perfect.

WHAT A BLOCK BY BIZ!!! AND ANOTHER ONE!!!

JB just said lots of curse words, actually the same curse word over and over, and earned a T. Is that his 1st T? Been a long time coming IMO.

Terrible D by 3J on Willy's brother. Turned his back out on the 3pt line and got blown by. Some posters get on Miles for his D - 3J seems to get a pass. And others think that having 3J and Miles is redundant - no way 3J can guard smaller guys like Miles is asked to do.

LOVE that drive by Miles. Little cross over at the top of the arc to shake the defender then cut back to his left followed by a straight line to the basket for the finger roll "and one". Nothing off balance, nothing over his shoulder, nothing forced. Keep it simple to make it simple.

That Beasley kid looks pretty good. I like him.

Monk has how many points?? That's the super quietest 20 points ever! - which isn't a bad thing at all - means he's getting them in the flow of the offense.

My oh my! What a SICK post up, quick spin and dunk by Miles. THAT's the stuff we need to see more of. Using his strength, quickness and explosion. He got fouled about 4 times on the move as well. Should have been an "and one".

Wowzers!! Monk just faked Reid out of his shoes on that drive for the nice double clutch layup. That was nasty!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Biz.......... Can we blame the guard (this time Tae) for battling the big for the rebound when there was no need for him to?

1, 2, 3 EXCEPTIONAL defensive plays by Monk back to back to back.

And then the finger roll down the middle by Monk to ice it. Been a heck of a game by Monk!! Terry who???????

NOISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes, it’s ok to celebrate a good win. This is one of those times.

It's not good for the young guys to lose 30 games in a row. It's not good mentally emotionally nothing. It's ok for them to occasionally win

Especially on the road, after two veterans (one being the team leader) left and right before the all star break. This was a great time to get a win like that.
